I am all for one, and of course I would love it if I didn't have to pay for it.
think this thread is filled with needless flaming. Any game, whether 4X, shooter, or action game, is enhanced by a single player campaign simply because it is an outlet through which the developers can expand and progress a plot- If they choose
Very well said. A campaign would give you that feeling of history and background even when you are playing skirmishes. I mean I really felt that I hated the Drengin in Gal Civ. It would only add to what is already a good game.
Excellent, let us know over in the Empires/MWC and Euro thread if you guys/gals are up for it. :)
It isn't an actual combination of our two groups. You would remain an independant Empire. Just the scores that you submit for a short while would be combined with ours. It is like a clean slate, without losing your past.
It is very possible. We have seen new empires rise out of the dust of older ones and jump right into the top ten. So think about it, I will wait to hear back from more of your commrades.
Anyone here interested in joining a MWC, Euro coalition of the willing to kick some Metaverse butt?? We are looking to set up for the clone war alliance battle. Think about it. Our three empires would combine our scores in the period we played.

The man's been keeping me down these last couple of days. But rest assured I am still around throwing cow patties at your heads as you race by on your stolen tractor.
Argg!! 1 day old.
Must keep it going.
Well things have definetly slowed down over here with all of the empire chat elsewhere.
Oh thanks alot ... I hope they are John deer green. We don't like those red ones.
No hobbits in my string for days. I was getting lonely so I made some duplicates of the one ring and scattered them among the haystacks. Hmmm..still no hobbits....maybe if I grow some wacky weed...
Speaking of Hobbits I may have to jump into their thread since they aren't poping up here.
Yes I would ;)
No I wouldn't
No I wouldn't
Well I guess that is my point. I will need to spend all my time hear. Thanks for poping in and out. Otherwise I would be just talking to myself.
If I spend all my time chatting in the new empires forum, then who will keep this string afloat??
I am sure they will have the difficulties applied to the game in the final version. Some of my first Galciv submisions still do not list the difficulty because it had not been applied back then either.
The slump may be coming to an end. With a new wave of submissions a good group of loyal MWCers have returned to their second love (their computers) and begun playing good old Galciv again. :)
We weren't effected too bad (or they haven't got to us again yet)
Yeah!! :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: Back to 4th. I guess the recalc and five or six games submitted by the quiet but deadly MWC pushed up back up. [Message Edited]
If the earth is gone then what happens to Piccard and Janeway. Not another time paradox oh my head is starting to hurt.
I am sure someone will find a way to beat it. I wonder if he will allow the AI to cheat at that level??
