The MWC overtakes the Paleface Council ....er I mean the white sheep...er..council. Sorry for my absence all my computer was down for a couple of days. Now back to battle. If only I could beat those pesky Dregin I could finish my current game. Arhgg, maybe my next game will not be masachistic.

Yes welcome both Jojo TIMB and plephart. It looks like the empire scores have settle but now individual scores are all wierd. It also seems that GROSS has adopted a new Pirate Logo. It will not help them though.

What goes up must come down.Well the good news is we are in 6th place and Copernicus and I are in the top 25 again. The bad news is GROSS is in 4th and the Euro's are in first. So more playing less chating ;)

Welcome to our newest member Kurleykyew. We seem to be in 7th on the metavers right now with Apolyton in 1st and GROSS in 9th. It seems very strange though and the individaul scores are stange too. They must still be changing it. Staffa went from 1st to 19th. Anyway for now we are 7th yeah us.

Well I just got back from my holiday weekend today. My experience was similar to your Copernicus. Except after family we got home and started house renovation (painting and plastering). My computer has been(and still is) unplugged for three days now. Oh the agony. Anyway I am (or was) working on a decent game. No telling when I will be able to finish it though.

I haven't bought a new game since I got GalCiv. That is saying alot same I am a game junky. But GalCiv has the right balance to keep me coming back.

Enjoy it for what it is. One of the best single player strategy games to date. It is an important (and judging by Stardocks sales) a lucrative niche.

I have encountered this too, although it work to my advantage. Everytime my enemies ally wanted to make peace with me I insisted on a new tech. with his surrender. He was so desperate to not be at war with me that he agreed. Only to have to declare war on me the next turn and then offer peace etc. you get the idea. It is a definent flaw.
