A big special welcome to our new members. With everyones hard work (OK OK fun gameplay). We are keeping pace with our fellow top ten teams. We continue to close in on the #8 team. I do tend to have tech. or cultural wins lately, but I rarely stay up with the AI in military. Infact I have had successful games without much of a military at all. Trade and negotiating are also strong elements in this game which add to the formula.

Is there any benefit to playing older versions?? I noticed some players (who lead other teams) are still playing v.031. Are they just looking to take advantage of old flaws??

Finally done. I had to settle for a tech. win. I was going for cultural but. After converting most of my allies I had no buffer between me and the hostiles. No matter though they were vastly inferior, Ok they couldn't win a tech victory. Either way I pulled it off. Hope you all are doing well in your games.

FYI MWC. I am currently at the tail end of a game. I don't think I will download the latest patch untill I am finished. Last time I tried to install an update while playing a game I was unable to transfer my score to the metaverse. So just a word of caution. The folks a Stardock have probably already taken care of this but better safe than sorry.

All quite on the MidWestern front. Another beautiful raining day here in West Michigan. I bet you didn't know Lansing is the second most cloud covered city in the US behind Seatle. Force you would be a welcome addition to our Community of players. There are no requirements for joining the MWC, however, your Ohio roots will give you a great deal incommon with several of our other players. Check out our home page and judge for yourself.
