Okay - I unchecked the show betas option and I am now able to download GC2. What is the reason for that? The beta was version 1.11[b].005 and the non-beta version is 1.11.029. The non-beta version number seems to be higher.....
No idea - that was a year ago. The receipt only shows a numeric customer ID. Now that I found the receipt I have also found the CD - but I am still curious why I can't install the game (through Stardock Central). I clicked some option to send myself the CD keys I have and I got an email from stardock with no less than 2 different keys than the one on the CD case. None of the 3 keys work..... <img sr

I voted Stardock(other). I got an email 31 March 2005 inviting me to purchase the Beta. I liked GC1 and the fact that there was no copy protection that I followed the link and purchased it. I practically forgot about the game until I received it in the mail at work one day. Needless to say that it was a long day even though I left early! Great game Br

I figured that since this was a Stardock program that I wouldn't need to keep the CD in the drive. Different publisher different policies, I guess. I'm not going to get angry like the guy that started this thread since I know about sites to get cracks ( www.megagames.net and the above mentioned gamecopyworld ) but I hope that the developers (Stardock) read this and insist from their next publisher than no "copy protection" is shoved into the game - it'
