I think it works at 90%. I agree with Nirvana, even now it is the easiest path to victory. ~SDC~
Army of Darkness
Shortly after developing our interstellar capabilities, the Federation was pleasantly suprised to encounter 4 yellow class star systems within our own sector. Immediately, we began leasing colony ships to take advantage of these systems as quickly as possible. It's true we were accruing a defecit not seen on Earth since 21st century America, but as the leader of Humanity I knew that not taking advantage of what was obviously a gift from the gods would be ignorant. I messed up. That was hard to read. I cleaned it up a bit below. I wish I could just edit the top message but, oh well. ~SDC~

Thats what I figured...Those guys are a little bit nuts when it comes to that game ~SDC~
:) Good idea Dearmad...The strategic depth of this game is mind boggling. ~SDC~
Oh, and I agree with many other people on this one: The amount of dedication the devs are putting into improving this game is incredible. I shall be eagerly awaiting future games. :) Keep up the good work ~SDC~
So, is the X amount of money for x months in diplomacy really going to be taken out? I kind of liked that one. Oh well. ~SDC~
That's what I'm guessing. Must be the pirate version. Mine crashes every once in a while when I leave the diplomatic screen but that is a known issue and I think the patch fixes it. I'm gonna download the patch tonight when I get home from work. But other than that, I find GalCiv to be extremely stable. Good job guys! ~SDC~
I...must....sleep....soon...no...more...caffeine....zzzzzzzzzz ~SDC~
To #31 I hope GalCiv never develops a Tactical Combat mode or Ship Design. Or if it does, I hope there is an option to turn them off. I've always found those two components to be a bit boring. When playing MOO2, I always had them turned off. ~SDC~
I don't have the option to update anything on Drengin.net. It only gives me the option to run or uninstall. Anyone know why that is? ~SDC~
I've never bothered to become good. Evil is just too much fun. I tried to be good one game, but I ended up neutral. Just isn't in my blood I guess. :d ~SDC~
Can I download the March 30th patch by itself? I checked Drengin.net and all I could see was the entire game (including the patch) available. Do I have to download the game again? ~SDC~
Someone's been watching Spinal Tap ~SDC~
Props to you if you made them. Those are really some sweet models. ~SDC~
When MOO2 got reviewed on Gamespot, it received an overall score of 8.7. The GalCiv review came out today and it got an 8.4. The scores are not that far apart. But, ultimately, it's up to personal preference. And remember, a demo will be coming out shortly so u can try before u buy. Personally, I love this game and would recommend it to any fan of 4X Space Strategy games. But that's just my opinion. Some people liked MOO3. I didn't. So, it all comes down to personal tastes.
I second that motion. ~SDC~
Can anyone give me some info on how to MOD, which files I can MOD, and what application I should MOD in? Thanks. I love the game how it is but it would be nice to be able to do something constructive while I'm at work LOL ~SDC~
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Well, I guess that's 3 things, but you get the point. And now, back to the game ;)
(:( These are tears of joy. Maybe my 4X game playing days are not over after my Moo3 experience. I'm getting my copy tonight (pre-ordered at EB).
24...Still a youngin ;)
Sound off...Five!!!
