Trade Embargo back in the game.... and maybe a little history text file summary you can print out about the history of your civilization much the same as the one seen at the end of Civilization 1. Doug

Maybe 1-3 extra major alien races...and you pick up to 5 of the 6-8 races to play with when the game sets up. Doug

The Drengin Ships in the color Red, not Green. To easily distinguish them from the Torians, plus they should be RED! :D Doug

Alien Encounter events. Obviously, Moo1, Moo2, and Moo3 are in competition with Galciv..so no homage events are allowed there. Any other cool alien civilizations anyone can think of that i might make an event out of ..from CLASSIC past space adventure/space strategy games?

Yeah..playing for fun....not worrying about the score.. i guess that'd be the best thing..but i'll save it right before i win..and then try it out for the long procedure best score too..and see which one i think is more fun for my future play! :)

Ok...right now I'm allied with the very weak Torians and the strong Altarians, both. The Yor have been conquered by me as well as the Scottlingas , the Independent League, and the Carinoids.... The Arceans are weak, but not as weak as the Torians... The Drengins have lots of planets and are strong and the big threat..but i can see our alliance of 3 knocking them off in a reasonable amount of time. Currently the stats say i'm in 1st place among the races. <br

Hi.. I keep wittling down a major power to 1 or 2 systems and then they always seem to surrender to my worst enemy. (cool innovatiton btw)...but how do you get them totally conquered before they can do this? Douglas any thoughts?

Well yes...but i also just meant something less as well...maybe just an event based on meeting an alien race that is not a player and galciv. The event would just be written as a dialogue. I shall email you an example :) douglas

Maybe I'll submit..or maybe the official guys may want to make a little dialogue routine for random events that are encounters with alien races? Right now..All i can do is post an alien picture and have the event file say "Hello Humans, We are the _______... we are in need of etc etc" and have the choices be good "I'm sorry..but we can't give you ..etc etc" (moral penalty -10 %) etc neutral evil "Yes..we will give you that in exch

Me too..this is my favorite game after SMAC, Civ1, and Civ2 ... in the grand list only Pirates!, the MAME emulator and Visual Pinball would be higher as well. right after it would be Master of Orion 1 and Europa Universalis 2
