More Fix It yourself bugs from hawaii 5-0--- Cari, everyone! in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Starting to work on the Tech tree, found a little problem that you can fix yourself if you are comfortable with Notepad. The file is GCTech.Tech All of the techs marked with Ability "Production" grant no bonus. This is because the game won't recognize the "Production" attribute, it doesn't tie to any of the known GalCiv constants. However, if you change "Production" to either "MilitaryProduction" or "SocialProduction", you will gain +10% to that category. So n

I noticed the pie chart picture on your expansion pack jpg had 6 slices? A purple slice. Is this going to be another major race? or the cumultive slice of the minor races? -Douglas :)

Maybe you guys can show the ships at an angle to show all of the designed 3d glory in a future version. I read that Frogboy was upset that he went with the top down version of the ships since they are really 3d. Perhaps you'll give the user a choice in the menu. Ships Displayed- Toggle TOPDOWN or ANGLED 3D VIEW hmm? Great great game. Douglas

A Cool thing happened in my game- My trade representive shot and killed the Torian leader! heh in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

It was a wacky turn of the game event. I was allied with the torians and altarians...and then a wacko from my nation shoots and assassinates the Torian leader. Yes, the leader's name changed after that and everything. Anyway..all of a sudden they are at war with me. Changed the entire game around. Very cool...but since i have hardly won this game and was about to have an alliance victory..i decided in the future i would accept this event, but not now..so i r

Alliances- Do your Allies Help You? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

if you have allies- 1. can they break off the alliance with you? 2. do they come to your aid if YOU initiate a war with someone? 3. do they come to your aid if someone else attacks you? 4. How do you get their help? I know how they get your help when they need it, but not vice versa :)

ok.. a section that says in bold letters How to Win or Victory Conditions lists them all ..and the specifics of the victory requirements. for cultural victory..this includes mentioning you must not be at war or have a treasury below -500 and that the main menu percentile is how much of the 90 % you have..in other words..that it must be at 100% for you to have 90% :D Douglas
