Well you've got to understand, at the time I had no *clue* there was an alternative way to obtain what I needed! If I had known I certainly would have utilized it. From my perspective, I was fighting to save the Galaxy from extermination and I had NO CHOICE. I hated it, I was genuinely emotional about the event. I didn't want to give up my crew & I'm sure my captain had many sleepless nights about the event. It would be a dark stain in his past he would never forget. That *is* why I spent

Honestly, it isn't *unreasonable* to have difficulty levels. As long as SCO has them, with 'normal' being in the same Ballpark as SC2, that'll be okay. I knew that Stardock was doing a 'continuation' of the SC series, but not wanting to watch the pot boil, stayed away from monitoring their progress. Now I learn that I should have watched the pot! Star Control 2 is not only one of my favorite videogames of all time (and I've been gaming since 1976) it's one of the best games ever made. Period. I would very much like to be part of any 'Second Wave' that might be made available. Is there some way to be notified

Mr. Wardell, I appreciate very much your taking a principled stance on #Gamergate and putting up your interview at The Escapist. This is even more important now that 2 of them (both pro-Gamergate) have now been taken down. Since we have read numerous 'hit-pieces' online (many supported by a man named Alex Liefschitz- you need to look into him) decrying yours as well, it might not be too long before an excuse is found to take it off the site. Most of the flak of course, comes from the
