I seen people mention it, but haven't quite worked out how to sell the AI stuff. I can give him things, but not say click on a tech and then the AI give me a price for it. Be nice to do that with their stuff too. If say I want to buy some tech off them, it would be nice to click on it and get given a rough price.

He's entitled to his views. Using silly forum buzz words like Troll doesn't change that. To me Galciv is Civ in space. It doesn't try to do anything else. I loved Civ, I am enjoying this. I'm still waiting for a proper sequel the best tbs space game Moo2. Moo3 was absolutely aweful. I might have a look for that Space Empires IV game, but can't seem to find any mention of it over in the UK.

I tried doing a map on huge with loose clusters. I have a nice little corner all to myself. I was doing quite well with no visitors. I had to go to war due to the Torrian's getting voted a planet nearby that was not habitable before. I took the planet with a transport and have been at war ever since with everyone. I spend every turn fighting off battlecruisers, battleships and dreadnoughts with my lone ranger (given by a lucky event) and some desperate defending with battleaxes. Co

Also have another question. Galactic resources that are in sectors where you have no planets. Do you still get say the 5% bonus if you plonk a Starbase on it, or does it only count if you have a planet in the sector to get the bonus? Starbases as I understand it only give their bonuses to planets you own in the system, or allied ships passing through.

Just like to say a big think you to all the development team. There may be a few bug posts and things we're not sure about or don't like, but it's such a good game we just want our experience to be even better. Looking forward to new patches and additions. :)

37 races at once? Blimey. I had about 8 in my game, and some of the reds were different shades, but still belonging to the Drengin Empire. I'd say three of the races were green. Tough one to call then cos as you say 37 diff colours would be difficult to have or distinguish.

I'm near the end of my game and it has started acting very strange. Ever since I built a couple of Terror Stars. First thing is you can put a fleet of ships in with it and hey presto your Terror Star can move 6 spaces. Trying to then unstack the fleet didn't seem to work. Attacked a planet with the Terror Star (had destroyed a few others) and was prompted for the are you sure you want to declare war question. Clicking No did not work it would only seem to accept yes. It just seems a bit buggy. I have no problem trying to manage morale. I'm used to that from all the old Civilisation games and Moo 2. In Civ you could set the Luxuries slider up a bit at the cost of income and research to resolve the problem. The main problem seems to be whatever you do has little effect apart from killing your own population. I could understand it if I had neglected my morale social buildings or whatever. When I've got nothing to build as I've kept up with my re

Seems to have temporarily fixed itself. After I last sent in the extermination squads morale hasn't shot down so much. I have tried to keep the tax rate at a level 31% to see what happens. If population is such a big factor with morale then there should be a way to limit growth until your empire is ready to cope with it. Like the other guys say any morale advance or building seems to put morale up for a bit then it levels off very quickly.

100% propaganda and very low taxes and still having 20-30% morale ratings? Come on, most leaders in the real world don't give us practically 0 taxes, if they did their rating would probably shoot up too.

Thing is morale seems to get lower as your planets get bigger. No matter how many morale enhancements you have or your abilities. As people say the only way to solve the problem for a few turns is to massacre your own population. I can only assume some people that haven't had problems don't have big enough worlds or empires yet. It needs fixing!
