I'm having same trouble as Darkhorse, except I uninstalled, now it won't install anything.

Alright, I tried to uninstall and reinstall to get the patch to work. Now when I try to reinstall, it's still giving me the invalid ex_ size error. Is there anything I can do? At this point, I can even play the non-patched version because I uninstalled trying to fix it!

Error installing new patch in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I'm having trouble installing the new patch (the 1.01a one). It keeps saying something about the file size being incorrect. I have the logs, apparently the .exe's are the wrong size. I wonder if this is because I downloaded from a new link trying to get the metaverse thing to work? Any help? ~SDC~

I'm currently not seeing our empire either, just seeing about 6 or 7 Am I doing something wrong? Or do we wait until a update?
