Is there/could there be a way to run the galcivw.exe with a switch that sets your color depth to 16-bit automatically when you run it, then back to 32 when you quit? I know someone said they used PowerStrip to do the same thing, but that's system overhead, even if only a little. And to go to 16-bit full time is kind of crappy when you're used to 32-bit. Sorry if this has been addressed; I don't see a search function for the SDC Discussion. ~SDC~
Or maybe *YOU* work for Stardock! Or maybe *I* work for Stardock! Or maybe *I* need to go to bed and quit waiting for the multimedia to download as my brain turns to mush! ~SDC~
Sheesh this guy/this company is awesome. ~SDC~
Ha...the bastard! ~SDC~
My multimedia download is screaming along at a mind-boggling FIFTY KB/Sec. :) I mean :( ~SDC~
Perfect. Many thanks! ~SDC~
I apparently ordered the "Download Only" version when I intended to buy the download/CD version so that I could also have the retail package. What's the best way to fix this? Thanks John Austin ~SDC~
