it takes my mind off the Mighty Blues
Go the Pies!!! (Has to be them, like penguins, are black & white!) :)
Hurley
Great job Slitherin!! Go get em! :CONGRAT:
he was a Carlton supporter
Ha! Ha! Ha! LOL And how many people are going to get that one!!!
And a jump to the right... :)
Drop Bear I kowtow in your direction! I clap my flippers in admiration That is just awesome!! :CONGRAT:
An old joke but a good one for our pirate 'friends' ;) The Pirate One day a Pirate and a bartender were talking to each other in a bar. The Bartender asked the pirate "Where did ya get that peg leg from?" The Pirate responded " We were sailing the seas when a big ol' shark came up to me while I was swimmin' and bit off me leg." Later the Bartender asked "Where did you get that hook then?" The pirate responded "Well, me crew and I were in a battle an
He waddled over; saw the drinking implement even had flipper attachments! All was well in the universe! He started into the red and waddled across to the group with Slitherin, Wild Wombat, Drop Bear and other pioneers
Ooops, forgot to also mention Bakka. Sorry. :(
The small, feathered animal in the natty tuxedo waddled up to the building. "Freedom Force HQ, all welcome. Bar hours - unlimited" read the sign over the extra-wide doors. The penguin quacked contentedly to itself, looking forward to washing the taste of fish from his mouth with a glass (or five) of excellent Heathcote Shiraz. (Also, the prospect of sanctuary from mobs of mayhem-minded murderous marauding Drengin was half bad either!) He knocked, a gruff, yet welcoming voice, boomed, 'c
Thanks KitWarrier. Appreciate the explanation.
Is it true that Emu bitter is the output from Emus? ;)
Everyone should check out Drop Bear's latest epistle in the GROSS thread - I knew I named thee Poetic Champion for a good reason....
I completely agree!! :CONGRAT: It is just awesome, except beer poisoning from Melbourne beer! :notsure:
G'day KitWarrior. Please excuse my ignorance but what actually does
split the matrix
mean? I haven't seen any of the movies. :( (Yes, I know remiss of me but too busy dealing with alien infestations on my PC!)
Thanks Slitherin. It is 7am where you are, an all nighter?? :SURPRISED:
behind technolically for much
I can't speel either! :)
Thanks Space Wombat. This time my vendetta against those Drengin fueled my ambition! From a tactics perspective, I followed some of the guidelines from the strategy guide (I think Staffa's approach I don't have it in front of me), but focussed on economic growth after the initial land grab, this let me rush purchase trade goods & wonders. (Galactice Stock Exchange was key.) I also worked hard at getting everyone else to attack the Drengin as they were the dominant civilizatio
Oi! What's this
Clash of the Titans
I know I have put on weight but.... :) I am about 25% of the way into another gigantic game at the momement. (No not at work!) So we shall see. I tell you what setting the Drengin to genius generates one or two very warlike episodes!
Freedon Force is fine for me also. Although like Space Wombat I like Dragons. Speaking of which, Space Wombat have you read "Flight of Dragons" - Peter Dickinson, it argues dragons existed and then proceeds to explain the possible scientific background behind various dragon myths & legends.
How about....Drum Roll...The Wandjinas. See link
I would be pleased to be classed as one! Great suggestion! :CONGRAT:
Thanks you Space Wombat, no I didn't realise that. Hmm, more possibilities!
Whatever we choose, should not be set in concrete
- sounds good slitherin.
SuperHero theme?
- I agree an excellent thought Ray. Hmm, my alterego was a phtotographer, a suppose that can be covered as a type of animal??? :)
Another thought - if you want to retain the animal metaphor: Animal House?
Food fight! I also need to make a confession, although I enjoy beer, I, like the august Drop Bear greatly enjoy, often too much, a red wine. Can't quite raise the same enthusiasm for Pinot as for a good Shiraz or Cabernet but still. There, thats better, off me chest, now "pass us that bottle Santa" to quote anotehr rock and roller.
Good call feathered and furred ones! Back to the fray! (Cranks up the Kraftwerk on the noise maker, prepares to 'get into the Yor's heads')......
Hmm, I should have stayed as a lurker. Every time I post I just open my mouth to change feet. My apolgies for any offence Slitherin. Fair call Space Wombat, was a bit of a bastards act. Next round is on me. Bars open!
Thanks Drop Bear. Tell you what my eyes don't after staring at the screen and my throat is sore from cursing the Drengin!
I am jealous of that extra medal, Hurley.
One extra or two??? ;)
