Paper tape? Toggle switches? New-fangled stuff! Plug boards!!! Cassette tape?? At least it didn't get out of order like punched & mark sense cards (although it did stretch also sounded weird through an ordinary tape deck). A quiz, how many different punch cards stock sizes have people used? I have used 2. 80 column & 45 (I think, memory is getting buggy) was on old IBM System/3. Again, haven't checked all posts but when you cultural takeover the last plaent for another race you don't get any notification/message. The only obvious impact is trade income drops & race vainshes from graphs screens. Also, is there another problem with Metaverse? I finished a game with score, clicked submit and new game score doesn't show in metaverse. (OK, not a great score only 668 but better than prior :) ) With regard to bugs, rather than checking entire 16 pages of for

Frogboy, I have re-read my posts and apolgise for the tone. I would like to play the game rather than a refund. As I said, I can't purchase it here and usual mail time for the CD from US is 10-14 weeks, so I would pefer to download it. My issue is that I don't see that the problems I am experiencing will be resolved as your statement was it was my connection. If you have an alternative I would be very happy to try as I have already spent many hours trying SDC and lately the full retail down

I have been anticipating the game for a long time and ordered it as soon as I could. It is hardly my connection when the repeated error is server timeout and that connection has worked very successfully for other large downloads within the last few days. Such mis-information does not assist my state of mind. I don't want to be downloading the full retail game at additional $$ for the download for me. But the SDC option fails repeatedly as well with even less support/information. Regarding your other suggestion, I have paid the US$10 for the CD but given Stardock's performance to

Like other people my downloads haven't succeded after multiple attempts, incorrect file size, then stardock central crash. Refreshed data, updated SDC. Still doesn't work. Stardock are NOT very good at this as far as I am concerned. >:( :( ~SDC~
