It's possible that there is some other bug effecting it, but double attack is two attacks at -4 each. Worst case maul is one at full accuracy and one at -4, and can be used every round instead of once per three rounds. Accuracy increases by two per level - finesse, accuracy and leadership perks increase it substantially as well. There's some faint chance at level 5 that a regular weapon that does double or more the damage of a maul one would be better in some circumst

Not sure if it was specifically winning but after winning the game accidentally, each time I have tried to use the autosave and previous autosave they have crashed on loading.
The weapons with a maul effect are far too powerful for their ease of access. Last game my sovereign killed the game ending quest dragon with two basic hits. Also, related bug/balance, maul's continuous attacks ignore status effects like stunned.
After the game/hero progresses for a while, sweep starts misbehaving - after the animation there is a very long ( 30+ second ) delay before the damage is applied
Had an enemy hero killed by a mantle of fire and counterattack damage - after he died the tactical combat remained on the dead heroes turn indefinitely.
Got this with the volcano guy ( delir of the pyre ? ) - when attacking him all that appeared was a lot of fire elementals and snakes - after killing them the game rewarded experience/quest text as if the boss has been killed as well.
I can't see the sliders on the economy screen, or the locks, or any other of those little widgets for some reason. Changing resolution, mouse cursor and antialiasing doesn't seem to make any difference, the spaces are just black. It makes them awfully difficult to adjust.
No matter what I do, both the drengins and the altarans are shooting right past me in every area ( research, economy, population, manufacturing etc ) fairly quickly on normal difficulty on the first campaign mission. I tried buying lots of factories/markets etc with the starting money but it did not seem to make much difference so I am sort of lost as to what I am doing wrong. Any suggestions ?
For an example of what I mean - in the first campaign mission you start on protoss I, which is a quality 12 planet, and have protoss iii, which is a quality 8 planet right next to it. By default they have 12 and 8 tiles respectively. If you take magical planet quality as a trait, protoss I will be quality 14 when you start and have 14 tiles. Once you settle protoss III, however, it will go to quality 9, but will still only have 8 tiles.
Joy, now I am getting Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0006' Overflow: 'cInt' /ssl/SFLib/incGeneral.asp, line 898 Obviously something is going wrong ;p

Anyone else having trouble getting the order system to accept their credit card details ? I keep getting details are incorrect or transaction denied even though I know for sure the details are correct.. I also notice the state field is not carried across in the billing/shipping info ( I live in australia, I assume this is a problem for any non US countries )
