For me the main reason was this.. Its VERY hard to see someone skipping all the work, breaking all the cardinal rules and then bumping those offending skins constantly to the top of page one, knocking down work that some folks spend months on. Straight and simple. If it wrong to think that is wrong. Then 7 out of 7 so called community elders, Masters, Mods alike.. were also wrong. If someone can explain to me why it might have been acceptable then please feel free.
It's '
What I think is missing here at WC (to a degree) is the active (or apparent) apprenticeship of newer skinners. A master should have teh elite skills but should not be elitest. Their goal should be to practice their trade and spend time training up the next batch of skinners.
I remember back when me and IR and NT were but mere beginners, it was like pulling teeth to get any information from the 'experienced' skinners when we had a question or had a hard time with some is
Between January 2007 and June 2008, less than half of IE users -- 47.6 percent -- were running the most secure browser version during the same time period.
Interesting statement from the article ...'browser version'? I wonder if that means IE7 vs other IE versions? ... it does seem to suggest that barely over half of IE users have switched to IE7 .... :NOTSURE:

ObjectDock Plus should be under the 'Misc' section. The free version of ObjectDock shows under the 'Free Stuff' section.
It is the Plus version
Did you install ObjectDock Plus without uninstalling the free version? With ObjectDock Plus, you shouldn't have a listing for the free version of ObjectDock.

Many good comments and tips from Masters and others. It always comes back to 'skin for yourself and what you feel is good'. Most skinners I know are their own worst critics. If you are skinning for points, praise, or promotion, you don't need to skin .. you need a therapist. ;)

If anyone is 'brave' enough .. although 'brave' may not be the best descriptive term ... try running your PC without an Anti-virus, Firewall or Anti-Spyware app running and see how long it takes for a nasty to latch onto your box. Bad form (not to mention bad idea) for any program to require you to shut down your malware protection just to install it. At the very least, you should disconnect your machine from the Internet if the app to be installed requires turning these progra

If you have High Speed Internet, such as Cable or DSL, and most people do, the easiest way to network both PCs is to get a Cable Modem/DSL Router. It comes with instructions which are very easy. Basically you plug the cable from your Internet modem into the WAN port and plug the PCs into the LAN ports .. typically there are 4 LAN ports. Refer to the specific instructions for the model you purchase. This will give both PCs Internet access and put them on the same network. It wil

Just a reminder ... Even though the Skinartistry site is no more; the people that made it what is was and contributed are still alive and kicking. ;) My personal thanks to Tom and all the people I worked with through the years over there. I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of folks.

In the main Windowblinds configuration window, click the down arrow beside Skin Options and select Rebuild List. I don't know if it will help your first issue, but it should take care of all those 'unknowns'.
Emailing support will get it the proper attention. Bumping this post for the sake of keeping it alive won't. As I said earlier. Please don't tell me to email support either (which I've already done). I usually get a response saying my ticket was received but that is where the notifications usually end (unless I publicly bitch about it, at which point I will get a response). Also considering the age of this post, it is obviously not high on the concern list
