I've had that problem also (file is corrupted or folder is read only). Do this: Create a new folder in the skins folder where Bootskins is installed (probably C:\Program Files\Stardock\Wincustomize\BootSkins). Name the new folder the same as the skin you've downloaded. Open the bootskin file with winzip, extract the files inside to the folder you just created. Start Bootskins and you should see the new skin. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="a

Crissy, I'm still at 3.96d[b].002 for SkinStudio and 4.19b[b].002 for WindowBlinds and no problems like that. I saw there were newer versions available but usually don't update when I'm working on a skin. (Yes, I've actually started on another skin!) [Message Edited]

I don't think you can really appreciate the female gender until you raise a daughter. Happily, my 22 year old turned out to be a very stable, mature young lady. But now the shoe is on the other foot, since I've got a 5 year old boy. Was I really that horrid when I was that age?
