Scratch that ...Enhanced File Dialog is in Impulse and SDC. ;) Impulse has a nasty habit of only showing part of the Object Desktop stuff from time to time. Here today; gone tomorrow  Gah! forum is extremely difficult to work with today. no edit button, timeouts, slow as dirt ... ;p Oh, now you show the edit button! X-(
Enhanced File Dialog doesn't show in Impulse. But it is still in SDC! ;)
Could this be something that would possibly get in the way?
Yes, it possibly could. Most of the current UXthemepatchers can be ran a second time to restore the unpatched uxtheme file. This would be recommended before installing WindowBlinds.
... [though most of you will die before me]
 Happy Birthday! :D
Long story short, my wife quit her job upon the birth of our fourth child and now spends the day with the little ones who aren't in school yet. We decided if we want to raise properly developed people, we have to do it ourselves.
Ditto for my youngest. Never been in day care ... just my opinion, but I think he's better for it.
I also learned how to grow things from my father. I still grow fruits and vegetables to supplement our pantry. My father also taught me to hunt and fish; even learned to trap from my grandfather. Hopefully I can pass as much as possible on to my son. ;)
As a test, remove all docklets from the dock to find if the crashing stops. If so, add the docklets back one at a time ... and wait between adding each docklet ... to see if the crashing returns. May be a docklet causing the crashing.
You can try this ... [link="http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-hidden-bootscreen-in-windows-vista/"]WWW Link[/link] ... and you won't need to alter any system files.
omg that fixed it........thanks pictor!!!! (huggles)
;)
Make a tabbed dock with a single tab, place it at the top or bottom of the desktop, put your cursor at the corner of the dock and you should get a 'resizing' handle. Make the dock narrower (one icon width) and long enough to have all your docks in one vertical row.
Try this kitty ...It may look odd in the preview though Left margin 18, Right margin 336, Tile middle section. That allows about a 5 pixel space in the middle for your oval with no overlapping margins. If sizing the window down very narrow in width causes it to look odd, you may try decreasing the length of your caption graphic and decreasing the right margin a corresponding amount.
How wide is the little oval thingy ... the part that will be the text background?
My son comes home from the hospital tomorrow (tuesday)
Glad to hear it, rustysam! :D
Bichur, Do you have SKS 6.09a.028 (as listed in Impulse) installed?
The original 6 release would run on the same system with 5 installed. The newest 6.09 beta will not. If you install the beta via Impulse, it will un-install 5 prior to installing 6.
That sucks ... I still use SKS5 to do the things that can't yet be done with SKS6. X-(
My prayers are with you and your family. Glad to hear the good news! :)
If I'm understanding correctly, SKS5 cannot be installed along with the latest SKS6? :NOTSURE:
A double thumbs up to ya, you ole pirate! :CONGRAT:
Congratulations to all! :D
On the activation error ... can't find ...etc., I may have found the problem and/or cause. There is a key in the registry that references and points to the location of a system variable that doesn't exist on my XPPro SP2 machine. Maybe the installer failed to set that variable; thus the failure of IP to find it if looking in the location specified by the key? Still waiting to hear back from Mike ... I'll run it past him and see what the devs think. ;)
I always thought the Logos, names and graphics were a part of copyright infringement of Marvel and DC comics. Sorry don't want to be a stick in the mud but I've seen a lot of skins turned down by copyright rules but these are aloud. Why?
It usually comes down to the owners of the copyrighted material asking Wincustomize to remove the protected items. Without a request or a pattern of requests by a specific copyright holder, most fan art will stay up. ;) I wou
Themerboy, the proper action is to PM a moderator/admin with your concerns. Posting a thread like this can result in a less than desirable outcome. ;)
Yum!
Is are running the trial version? I can never tell from looking at the info.
The info will say Trial if it is that, Philly ;) Westnine9, some of your dates are wrong for that version, this one: Wbsrv.dll 2008/06/02 06:05:10 in particular. That is today's date. :SURPRISED: You might try uninstalling the version you have and re-installing from SDC or Impulse
