first of all working on the games that are in a way the same its really stupid, Stardock spend time, money, engineers, and who knows, just to keep AOTS alive while most of the players moved to Escalation, the the players that did not it was because they did not wanted to pay more. ADDITIONAL:
What exactly did you guys expect to happen if you make a standalone expansion with all kinds of fancy stuff like upgradeable defenses, etc.
Yeah, I think the market has already spoken on this point. Here it comes: Galactic Star Control of the Offworld Singularity III ... an early access beta for alpha founding founders who may, or who may not, have purchased some previous DLC, on a Tuesday, when the moon was full ... and who will therefore receive... ... harrumph. Sounds to me like SD is making acquisitions and building-up tech, marching gradually and and methodically towards the simiest sim ever. We're talking uber

This is the problem with the internet. It immortalizes conversations and situations like this. IT turns such incidents into something that people invest time in. STOP IT. END THIS THREAD. BE SANE. There is no need to parse and comment on the the rant/rage. There is no need to parse and comment on the commentary. Let it go. Let it pass into the

They have limited resources, and I think they rotate their devs between the games??? SO thier games seem to get love in cycles... at least that is what it feels like. I have no doubt Ashes will have its day again soon.

I am running a 1080p HP2509 monitor from 2010 that I like an awful lot. But it has started to flicker. So... it's just time to replace. But I like the quality of that screen very much. It's nice and bright, and very crisp. Glossy screen, I think. It is 5ms, and that seems perfectly fine to me, since my apm is nowhere near pro. I have no doubt that anything I get will likely be better than what I have. &

It's your link. https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/generic?iso=20170122T1830 Should probably be T1330 ???? Or maybe a dif parameter than ISO?

YOur post above seems to indicate 1330 est, which last time I checked means 130pm. BUT. The countdown page seems to indicate 630pm est. Might want to get this clarified.

I only see florescent flicker when they are dying. A brand new bulb in a properly working socket, solid as a rock. Movies, look pretty damn fluid to me too. Same with TV (30 frames). Movies and TV don't exactly feel like a flip book to me -- ever. So, if that means I'm going to starve as a hunter... Then congrats.... Your genes will probably endure. </
Do you need to have a car that can drive that fast to use [the tires that go 300mph]?
I agree with you. But I'll be the first person to tell you that the human eye can't really process much faster than 30fps. 30fps usually looks like fluid movement to us, unless something is moving really fast over a longer distance. It is hard to get the illusion of movemen

I'm running an i7 970 @ 3.2Ghz (not overclocked). I have six cores, and 24GB of system ram. My GPU is a GTX 1070. When I run Ashes benchmarks for DX11, I end up somewhere in the realm of 45fps overall, with 53.2fps for normal batches. (on the whole, the game plays perfectly fine for me, and I never have a problem, not recently anyhow) Seems like I should be running faster than that with my hardware, but I'll set that aside f

Personally, I never have much of a wait for MP. Maybe I'm lucky. ... or maybe just not legendary yet (ended Season 2 at something like #50). My queue times are usually Which isn't SCII or OW, but definitely not horrible for a growing game.

This link might be helpful... https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/478258/page/1/#3641377 It DOES make a difference in play. You ultimately get the same number of units, but you get some earlier, which can be important. This means you start to move them earlier, add them to your armies earlier, and wallop the opponent with a just a little
It makes good game play however.
Umm.. disagree. Tough choices make better game play. "I can bust all your troops" is more like a no brainer. (maybe just a little brain, because there is a quanta cost, but it could become a much more painful choice if it damages your own troops.)

We've all seen that MP is not remotely as popular. I wonder whether it is MP, or just 1v1 MP. I just finished a few days of playing teams, and I have to say it is a LOT more fun. Obviously, I have been playing vs. AI and in custom games. But wow... much more fun. So am curious if it is just ranked that is unpopular, or all MP. I mean, what would happen if they opened up a ranked team option?
A player shouldn't be able to 'clean' their currently-under-assault base or instantly "win target fight" by dropping a nuke in the center of it and continuing unscathed with business as usual.
Well, it's not THAT simple. There is a countdown, and it is usually possible to save some troops. BTW, my experience is that lvl4+ can sometimes live through a nuke.

I don't play against the AI much, but I have been doing it for the last couple of days. It's pretty enjoyable -- mostly because I can also pause, for a change (I usually play MP). Anyhoo, while playing today, I noticed something REALLY odd... first time I ever took note of it, I guess. I finished a game (beat the virtual pants off the AI), and I had so much fun doing so that I decided to mop up the remaining mess on the map, and I kept playing after game
be honest, once you start the process of capturing a node I think the creeps should stop spawning. Seems a simple solution to the armies not capturing nodes properly when you've queued them up.
Don't encourage half-baked solutions. :) Should be done right. :)
