Fair question, but no, its with the PHC.
Actually, first time I noticed it, I was playing substrate. Some of my fighters were just circling while the enemy's planes were swooping in, ignoring my fighters, and bombing my node. LOL. Happened to me TWICE before I decided to watch it happen a third time. GARRISONING FIGHTERS AT THE NODE WAS WORTHLESS. Other than that, yo

Noticed this in a couple of games. I know there is an AI / controllability issues here - you can't have your troops constantly chasing down the enemies, when they have been directed to stand at a location. BUT... there has to be a happy medium. Fire back, but don't move... or give a small radius for return fire... at least. Anyone else notice this?
I haven't been in MP for a while, but am planning to return. I just wanted to finish the escalation campaign before jumping back into MP. I finally had the chance to finish up the other day.. yay (was very fun, BTW). Anyhoo, I am curious if I am not alone. Maybe more players will start showing in MP over time. I know I will be there to find out... :)
Lots of people have commented on this idea... some way to do a partial select or deselect. I made some comments about a "partial deselect" in this thread, back in June: https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/478101/page/1/#3639946 So.. I wouldn't call it a bug, BTW, but I do agree that I naturally wanted to "break off" units, an
I've had his happen too. With OTC as well.
All hail warp prism. Mrrgh... wrong game. Sorry. ;)
Mine certainly drags a bit on load (understatement).
My recommendation if you play multiplayer, lose, and feel bad about it. Play again. And again. And again. And sooner or later you will feel good about yourself when you win. And then you will lose again. And again. and Again. But keep playing, and you will win again. I promise. ^^^ That, plus this: It's just a game, not a job, not a demarcation of social status
+1 tourney addition. To clarify: Is the plan that those who own the game (escalation) would just be able to play MP, without the additional tourney version purchase? I personally don'y care TOO much on this point, but just want a sense of what to expect. Also, am curious how upgrades will be handled? Will tourney addition be a crippled version that will remain the same forever, or will it have all of the latest greatest stuf
Amen Amen. Agree.
Replays will help with this a great deal.
No doubt well deserved for the past months of work. Now if I could just DL the dang thing, I'd be thrilled. You guys must have set the entire gaming world on fire. Servers are going SLOW! Probably a good thing, though. Means we have much to look forward to. Kudos.
Is it possible so add a posibility to attach factories to an army, so that those factories would reinforce that army (meta unit) directly? Cause atm, there is a problem that if you request a reinforcements, there is no possible way to assign closest factories to production. And as far i see, requested units can be produced on the most distant factory, instead of using closest one. Ofc you could do it manually, but i would apreciate
the game wasn’t buggy on release
Uhh.. look, I like the game, but I'll also be honest it has crashed a few more times than Starcraft II... or most other games. I think you're dreaming on this note.
The player wants to know “Why should I pay $50 for your game when I can get these other games, that have a lot more stuff, have been vetted for years, have established communities are less tha
Followup to previous post... In fairness, it does appear that some of my issues (#8 and #9, and to some degree #3) were addressed by Draginol in this thread: http://steamcommunity.com/app/228880/discussions/1/350544272219647451/
In general, I like the idea of adding complexity, sophistication, and more strategy. However, I have some misgivings about this post and what it might imply. 1) Calling your hot new product "inexpensive but modern" (translate as "cheap but reasonably functional") is not a terrific idea when you are expecting people to invest in a new version, less than a year after the original was released. This description of the game would hardly be a resounding e
+1. Just making sure you guys realized. :)
What I do know is that MP isn't in the picture for the vast majority of the audience, unless you are a Blizzard fan.
Blizzard +1. AoTS +2.. .... maybe even +10.
If you are in the queue for a while 3+ minutes, and you aren't in the top 50 players (legendary), then you get to play the AI. If a player if available, the computer will generally match with them instead, regardless of rank. Even if you play a "1" rank, it is a good way to learn. Most players will give you advice, if you ask. If you aren't sure, a good way to check is to try interacting with them during the game. Send glhf and se
I bought Ashes. I played through the campaign. Last level was a beast. I beat it, but it was tough, and took forever. So, here is my question. Escalation is a stand alone. What does this mean for my progress thus far? If I want to see the rest of the campaign levels (see the whole story), will I have to beat that impossible level again? *shudder*
Unanticipated Interstellar Quantexplative Denialator (UIQD) Long Range Virtual Anxiety Reduction Box ... I could do this forever, if you need some PHC names too...
Are the UI updates simply dealing with the global zoom and the screen resolution/tech barriers? Or will there be more done to enhance the UI, such as: - Improvement of Selection Methods (ex. quick and convenient way of splitting some units from a meta) - Controls to determine AI behaviors - Interface to more easily control dread upgrades, etc. Also curious about intended scope of graphic enhanceme
Sales method and marketing tactics matter quite a bit too. And perhaps you didn't notice my comment about game quality?
... community is willing to support a long-term commitment to development to get the content and niceties in there.
I'm in. Keep working.
For some reason, I am reminded of that classic Nielson study where they found that if they offered $5 for a survey response, they would get none, whereas if they offered only $1, they would get a lot of responses. Not same, I know... but perceived value concept is definitely relevant. As is concept of investment, and it's relation to endorsement (increased probability of endorsement if you can get someone to make commitment and investment). Just think... with SaaS,
