Oh, great.
Killa Koala
Gulp...backs away slowly.
Laurie, GET OUT (push). I got my game online, but I actually want a boxed copy (and then I can Manipul... I mean have it in my hands). I'll check it out this weekend. And either you are psychic or an Aussie. Why aren't you *flaunting* an ANZAC flag? Pontius: Can I say away from your thread that you G.R.O.S.S. people seem to have a few *hotheads* there. We ANZACs are as placid as a family of sheep. Oh..Doh
Just stick pins in my eyes. Keep it lean and mean. Maybe Firaxis will do a Civ in Space game.
Oh ho. Gerakken, I'm not sure, but do you mean, maybe, when Brittania ruled the waves, the world situation was sort of like a version 1.02?
Oh, ho. My "partner" ASKS for computer systems. I normally import the latest mamby pamby Nintendo machine from the States, let alone Playstation and :sniff!: Sega machine. (We stuck with the Oz X-box). For ever more I'm importing American games. The sob stories I read on USA posts and in magazines about how EXPENSIVE things are in the States. Do you have ANY idea how much EVERYTHING costs down here (apart from mutton)?
Heh heh. Pontius has definitely gone to bed. And you're right! I haven't played for so long that I forget the rules. I keep slipping a place each day. I've invested so much time in trying to disrupt the other Empires that the ANZACs have surged ahead. Doh.
forceinfinity #35: Are you able to describe a 'bad area'?
Copernicus #6: Sorry to hear that about Johnson Polak. Apparently, U.S.Government research shows that drop bears now take out more tourists each year than sharks, pet snakes or the Hippo races at Kings Cross, Sydney (and those races really get ugly).
I'm 45 years old, but some say I look 44 years, or even 43. Just remember, today is the youngest you will ever look (without assistance).
Pontius #56: Its called poetic license. I regularly misquote for dramatic effect.
Well she was in water. Look, let's face it, in swimming its America and Australia and the rest of the world. A win over the Yanks (as we call you, except for Mid-Westerners) is savoured to such an extent that we do silly guitar impersonations. Ms Glockenspielenbaum hasn't done very much since has she?
Good Heavens, this is almost real time. Just when my lunch break is coming to an end.
Just kidding. Heh heh. Some of us Aussies and Kiwis and Americans and Canadians and so on were contemplating starting a Former British Possessions Empire. However, for some reason no-one has yet embraced that idea. So until then, any people from the Motherland (as some us still refer to the UK) can join the united Kiwis and Aussies as we steamroll up the chart. That way, even though you can't legally live down here anymore, at least you can still, in some sense, bask in the sun of s
Um, what happened to Bigman2013? Anways, in another thread (you know, the one the Euros stopped reading), it was idly suggested that a new Empire called The Former British Possessions Empire be formed which probably would cover just about everyone in the world. I reckon that ALL Australians and New Zealanders (and I would guess Americans and Canadians too- maybe not Mid Westerners whatever they are) would be PROUD to be considered a Former British Possession. Because, let's face facts,
Here in Oz we thought Misty Hymen's win was a bit anomolous (sic) too.
Pontius, its patently clear that the "Europeans" (and we Aussies now call ourselves "Southern Hemisphereans") don't want us on their thread. Indeed, I think they've left Galciv altogether based upon their scores. We Southern Hemisphereans really look up to the Northern Hemisphere and especially the homeland as many of us still refer to Mother England. Gosh, we still have a European monarch. I want to know what happened to that Bulldog spirit, that spirit epitomized by their cricket
Slitherin: "Perhaps you could just ignore the scores and enjoy the game....or is that too radical?" You misinterpret me. I wanted to create a really cool nickname like "Slitherin" (I presume not your REAL name). Alternatively, I was also thinking maybe I could become Crown Prince of the Tinys like that player who has completed 30-40 Tiny games. Then I thought, would less scrupulous people (and we know they are out there) actually MANIPULATE such things. And anyway, isn't i
Dang that time difference. I should realise, because I've rung EBWorld in the States from here at midnight often enough. By-the-way, ANZACs are about to roll the Lap Poodles any day now. *Cough*
Citizen Elrikk: Its NEVER a curse. In the alternative to Valamir's ruse, just sell them to a minor civ for mega cash, and the minor civ will probably use them against a major civ.
Kiwi Greg: Mate, we've got to get you out of there. Its killing you softly. LOL
Just the merest sniff. Of-course as you may have noted on Europe's own thread, a "Former British Possessions Empire" may well be just around the corner, which all British will be able to join given their current lack of their own Empire. ;)
Copernicus of-course you're biased. By-the-way, is that a flag of the Rising Half-Sun? Bigman2013 are you an Aussie, a Kiwi, ever travelled to Australasia or thought about travelling to Australasia or indeed the Southern Hemisphere? If so, you could be a member of the ANZACs. You may not get the humour or even spell correctly, but no matter. I suspect you've got more chance of bathing in the sun of success than with the Empires you've nominated. (I assume Pontius is having a night o
G'day horrorshow. Any insider ideas on how to sow dissension in the Lap Poodles? Oops, I mean, the European Alliance? Dear All: My current game (large map, cheesy version 1.02) is dragging on. (Yes, yes, I'll update one day.) The Yor in one corner are on the ropes and being "assimilated" as we speak. I had set up 6 trade routes with the Alexians, and was quite disturbed when the Yor sacked their only planet. But lo, the trade routes automatically converted to become trade routes wi
