I've done this the opposite way, colonizing an unwanted planet multiple times so i could choose the good option and boost my alignment. By the end the planet apparently had a half dozen native alien races living on it, coexisting with several random native lifeforms, and there was a precursor artifact or two there as well :) When i checked the Deatils section of the planet it has stacked up negative attributes, and I expect if you checked the details of your planet you would see the rev

I saw version 1.02 available for download last night, and after some fidiling to get rid of the 85 meg download problem, i happily grabbed a copy. Unfortunatly if there were any warnings about the patch i didn't see them, and after Stardock finished installing it i found that i couldn't load my old 1.01 saves anymore! I reinstalled the game and installed the 1.01 pack i'd downloaded before. I can load my 1.01 games again now, however i'd like to get the 1.01a patch so i could g

First of all, I've gotten the impression that when you "trade" good to another species, you give them the right to build it themselves but maintain the ability yourself. This is correct, right? If not, a lot of the rest of this won't make any sense. 1: Can the other species now trade the trade good? It wouldn't make sense given the flavor text, but it's good to be sure. 2: What happens if you buy the licensing right to a trade good from another species, and that species later g

This is a weird one. I've been building size 1 colony ships, colonizing a planet to get moral choices, and then scrapping the colony so I could do it all over again. This was obviosuly an attempt to boost my alignment. It works really good, but after awhile I ran into a problem. I colonzied the planet with a colony ship with 1 million colonists, got a moral choice, and picked the good answer, reducing production. I'd already gotten negative production questions several times, (I'm guess
