I am playing a Gigantic galaxy / tight clusters and I think there should be a lot more stars in a galaxy this size. I am playing against 2 computer players, and I hate to imagine what kind of space-related nightmare it would be to play with ALL races active....

I want to trade with them, not be at war with them. How many Pirate ships does one P planet make in a game? Also my Q wasn't answered....is the P planet considered a new civ? Can I attack it?
Ok the neighboring minor race has a planet that's turned to piracy. Can I attack this planet to wipe out the pirates, or will this be declaring war on that minor race?
When I build a new SB now it costs 600BC, but it says "Logistics = 0". Does this # mean there a tech or something I can build to reduce the price?
What I would like to see is a way to have spending reduced for "new" colonies.
Is there a way to adjust individual planet spending?
I used my first colony ship on a PQ 16 planet, and the next turn the cost was 6B while it was taking in 3B. Does it also depend on starting pop? If I colonize with 25M, will I have a "profitable" colony from the start?
Why does a new colony cost 6B to run?
Problem is I can't be sure on when it will end, or what "post boom" economics will look like. I had so many buildings that I went into heavy deficit. Adjusting the slider only did so much.
A recent game said I was entering increased prosperity - my planets economies exploded! Like a sucker I increased spending, and 50 turns later or so it cools - or rather freezes. I had to quit because I was suddenly in a -300 deficit I couldn't get out of unless I razed buildings!!! :sniff!: What causes this boom, and what do other players do when it happens? Do you try and keep a large surplus so you don't get burned when it ends?
The I-League (INDEPENDENT league) will control all the planets in rebellion. A few turns into the game you may see that non-alaigned worlds have formed the League. My guess is the Yor planets were rebelling like dominoes.
Is there some keyboard shortcut that can be used in loading a colony ship? Once a planet gets above a certain pop level, it is verrrrrrrrrrry tough trying to load a small amount of colonists!!! I want only 200 million, but the slider only goes to 700 or higher!
Chekov: "You lie! On Ceti Alpha V there was life!!" Khan: "THIS IS CETI ALPHA V!!!!!!!!! Ceti Alpha VI exploded six months after we were left here. It shifted orbit of this planet, and everything was laid wasted..." Nitpick #1: The planet in "Space Seed" was Alpha Ceti, but DeForest Kelley (McCoy) kept saying Ceti Alpha, so they changed it.. Nitpick #2: Khan sees Chekov and says "I never forget a face." Chekov wasn't in the series yet in "Space Seed."
Planet class list near back ;p
"This IS ceti Alpha V!!"

Star Trek Wrath of KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have yet to encounter the Iconians, but I wonder if the name came from the ST TNG episode "Contagion;" "Iconia: Coordinates 227 Mark 358, Planet II. The Iconians were long thought to be just a myth, no the Iconians are certainly real. We know that three systems within this sector had a number of cultural similarities, similarities that could only be explained by there being a single unifying influence. These worlds were either colonized or probably conquered by the Iconi
The I-League can expand beyond their system??? Why then did they have 6 col ships waiting while I colonized a neighboring system?
What is the difference between an associate and minor?
c. 2186: Rebel planets form League of Non-Aligned Worlds (what does this mean exactly?) c. 2191: New era of economic prosperity begins (wow! surplus $ went from 10 to 400!!!) What other "events" should I expect?
Let me rephrase...if you have +2 Trade and have contact with two other empires, does that mean you can only send one route to each or two routes to each?
If I have tech for two routes, does this mean two per empire or two total?
Groove Salad?
I have seen one monster so far, and it was attracted to some outlying Arcean colonies. It must have sensed weakness (my planets had relatively heavy defenses - plus I was in the middle; monsters seem to come from the map edge.)
