Unless the boys at stardock want to give me a freebie download out of pity with mine not knowing how to prove I have an ordered copy from Amazon... there isn't much I can do (I know they are great with customer support, hehe, but it'd be asking to much of them for this). :) except grit my teeth and wait it out. ::goes to sleep::
lol, no doubt. I suppose I can take the time to write detailed letters to friends and family explaining why I may dissappear in a few weeks... just so they don't worry to much. :) or take the time and enjoy a little sun.. sigh
I am ever so frustrated, so just thought I would vent some of that here. :) I ordered this game from Amazon last week, after reading various reviews and the stuff on this site, I knew it was a game I wanted to play quite badly. I head to Amazon, place an order, next day shipping... and bite my nail all week awaiting arrival. Now I get an e-mail saying it is to be delayed and probably won't be delivered until at the earliest, April 22. :( I've been dreaming about this game anticipating playing it
Thanks Ash. I plan on playing a gigantic game eventually, so the terror star taking a bit to go crazy with is fine by me. :) Just can't wait to actually survive long enough to go around and give the fear of the empire to the AI.
Still waiting for my game to arrive via amazon (seems like forever) Anyways, I have a couple more questions on the game. Can you turn certain victory conditions off? especially the culture and tech victory. Is the terror star capable of taking out a planet? ALA the Star Wars Death Star. If it is.. it will quickly become my favorite weapon whenever I get it. >:( mua ha ha ha. Thanks in advance, can't wait for my copy to arrive.

lol.. too funny. It's a good question though.
Sometimes its not so much a matter of wanting to win on a higer difficulty level, but rather a matter of just pure fun. :) What could be a better tension release after just suffering a military defeat than loading up and inserting 100s of uber ships around your enemy and just out-right crushing them for free. "Take that Yor, I am a god" It's just fun to do things like that from time to time. :D

I should note, I haven't gotten the game yet (waiting for it to find its way through snail mail to my door).. but this question has been on my mind.
Can you continue the game after you have already met one of the victory conditions. Say for instance I reach a cultural victory, can you still play on if you wish, to conquer all other civs, without the score beind added up beyond your victory?
