If u mean 'Constructors' have u launched them out of planetary orbit by double-clicking on the ships icon when u have the star system selected?? (I know this is pretty fundamental, but I have to check) ~SDC~

A nice App that gives you template defaults, highlighted syntax, and drop down boxes for things like all the tech and ship ID's and there pertinent information... *sigh* Can't you just see God in Heaven typing syntax into a cosmic screen when he created us... Actually there is surprisingly little written about the other races, I guess this is due to the customization factor... Being able to change a races character from being totally evil to lovey-dovey within game sorta puts the dirty on giving them a slave-trading master-race type history... However there are some defaults, the Drengin are EVIL (even if when u set there slider to 'good' they come up with such messages as 'we're really quite cuddly') I guess there is huge potential in scope

Apparently looking in the New GC Mod thread, The event file was uploaded as a RAR file that has been renamed.... You'll need to rename the file extension .rar and download WinRAR to extract it. ~SDC~

Haha! I may be the ONLY Kiwi to have the game :) Have to have some games against you sometime Mythor and Von... Get some good ol' across the ditch competion happening! Rugby, Cricket, Netball... I Agree... More functions in the Forum. I don't imagine it would be that hard to achieve either... as the forum data is being pulled from a database for both the website and within SDCentral, all they would have to do to create extra forums is list more 'subscribing' options in SDCentral... Which would put more tabs like 'GalCiv Forum' and 'GC Strategies' in the toolbar up top. ~SDC~

This is just a general thing I noticed with SDCentral... While it allows you to download the base files for GalCiv in a 'modulated' form, this doesn't appear to mean that it is resumable... A resumable download will pick up from the point it left off, even if that is in the middle of a file. SDCentral appears to pick up from the start of the last file being downloaded?? (Or the Last Module, whatever terminology you want to use) which is a real pain if you get a particularly large file a
