Bucket of newbie questions in Strategies Stardock Forums

Hi Loving the game so far, but starting to get desesperate as I walk from every game beaten or severely beaten as soon as possible. So I have a series of questions on possible strategies and situations I dont know about: 1) Its there any kind of morale penalty for wars?
