I don't feel bad for Infogrames at all. I just noticed after MOO3 that every game I've bought from them has been poorly made and buggy upon release, and very overhyped. I for one usually don't ever look at the publisher or developer when I buy something (except Squaresoft and Blizzard) but now I won't buy any of their games unless I've played a demo or heard ALOT of good things about it.

Well I for one hated it (returned it) as did many others, but if any of you out there that don't have it or haven't had it before, and wanted to try it you can get MOO3 REALLY cheap at amazon.com. It's $29.99 + $20 rebate so it's $9.99. Anyway just FYI.

Just stick with it... sometimes things happen you don't expect. Just today (not with good ai though... sub-normal on all 5) the Drengin were taking over the whole Galaxy, I had three planets, one of them seperated (the Altarians gave up to me, this was on small galaxy) and they were beating down the Arcaens and the Torians, they left me alone because they just kept demanding money and using that to kill the Arcaens/Torians :p I was sitting back and trading/researching like crazy (was doing ove

As Gal Civ is right now, it's simple MECHANICS, complex (as far as I can tell.. :p) gameplay. There's a difference. Space Empires IV is complex as hell and also has complex gameplay. MOO3 is complex and hell but once you get past all the needless complexities (useless numbers, feedback, etc.) it's actually quite simple (AI takes over for you etc.) So no, Gal Civ doesn't need to become "complex". It's a different style, as long as the game itself (strategies) are comp

We aren't bitter. I'm happy as hell I bought the piece of crap MOO3, I returned it, found out about two excellent 4x games, Space Empires IV and Galactic Civilizations, and moved on. Heck, Brad should thank QS, I've seen quite a few people disappointed in the crap game MOO3, move to Gal Civ probably boosting sales quite a bit.

Great game said many times. Great customer support said quite a few times. But I just had to say it, Brad and co. seriously you guys have the BEST customer support, and relations I have ever seen, for basically anything, on and offline. Great job, and know that your type of support is what gets people (at least my type of people) buying your products, current and future.

Is anyone else having stability problems?? I just got this yesterday and out of the maybe 2-3 hours I've played it's already crashed 3 times (just freezes, doesn't respond). Here's my specs if that's the problem: AMD Athlon 2200+ 128 MB NVidia Geoforce 4200 ti+ Sound Blaster Audigy 528 MB DDRAM Windows XP Home Pretty standard I think... so I'm not sure if it's me. Anyway the game is great, just kinda annoying how it crashes quite often for me.
