You can always try beefing up your Econ stats in the early game. Make sure to develop trade routes to offset taxes and you should be ok. The last game I played I was at 0% tax rate for the majority, this in turn allows for excellent morale stats. Thanks for some useful info however the original post was very confusing, and did not present all the information in the correct context. Lets just say morale is important.

I was just checking my stats and was going to submit to the metaverse but when I clicked to check my social stats, the screen flashed and GalCiv was gone. Anyone else have this happen, if so lets get it fixed, I replicated it as well, loading my auto save and it did the same thing after a reboot and everything. ~SDC~

I skipped the first email, went straight to the download link and right now I am 55% through the 450mb download, with absolutely no probs so far, its been going at 120k steady so I cant complain, if you dont like stardock then dont use it, so far I have not found it necessary.

I just thought I would let you know that it is companies like yours that give me a little faith in the gaming industry. I was a sucker who bought MOOIII blindly and look where it got me, weeks of annoyance and bad cr, I come here, immediately love the game (much more than the previously mentioned) and the cr response and patches make me feel like the customer does matter Thanks again guys, I LOVE THIS GAME! :)
