Has anyone ever gotten the message that Major Race X has uncovered some technology that will slowly increase their power and that you should attack them now before they become unstoppable. I have ignored that message both times I've seen it and still gone on to win the game. What does that message mean?
From what I can tell any extra beakers that get produced beyond what you need for that tech get applied to the next tech on the list. So you aren't losing the extra research that wasn't applied to the tech you just researched. I remember one game a tech that was at the top of the list and originally needed 12 turns to be researched only needed like 4 when I actually got around to researching it.
Will i be able to load my saved game if I upgrade. If not I can wait till I finish my current game.
I prefer evil or neutral because the border when you're good is too bright. The glare really bothers my eyes. It's a shame because I like the good tech better than the evil tech. You are able to go one step faster as a good civ than as an evil one.
Okay in my last game I was allied with the Arceans who were in turn allied with the Torians. I had already wiped out the Yor, Drengin, and Altairans. I wanted to take out the Torians, who were hostile but not at war with me, and have an alliance victory. But anytime I declared war on the Torians, who only controlled 5 planets, the Arceans would declare war on me. This made no sense! I wish there waas a diplomacy option that allowed you to demand that another race break its alliance with some
