Is it the full screen view that looks like the map generally displayed in the upper right of the screen? If so, hit F9. Wendelius

Thanks Arne, It helps indeed. I think the game sounds so good that it deserves a try. The thread also offers hope with the hint that disabling background GalCiv tasks might lead to longer wait times but allow the game to run better, even in larger Galaxies. I wonder if one of the developers would have comments on the effect of doing this (if it is even possible?)? Thanks for the link. Wendy
Hello Arne, I could obviously wait for the demo. But then what would I play tonight? ;p Good news about people playing in that CPU speed range. In a way, it would be disappointing, not to get access to the largest galaxy but how limitating would you say that would be? If I could play all the other sizes (how many are there, by the way?), I guess that would be OK. Any chance you can point me to the Apolyton thread you mentioned? I had a look around but couldn't locate
Greetings, Having been sung the praises of GalCiv by some of my friends, I decided to check it out. It all sounds very good and I'm looking forward to playing a game with such a competitive AI. However, my specs are as above (P2-450Mhz, 384Mbs of RAM, Geforce2 (not that the video card is a critical component in this case, I would think), all running on Win98). So that puts me 150Mhz below the minimum spec and not even in sight of the recommended one. :notsure: <br
