Sorry if this has been answered. I read the manual, but maybe too quickly and couldn't find it. Does your running mate (vice president selection) adjust all of your own stats?

I don't want to be rude, cause I LOVE Stardock. But I'm getting creamed with a custom Republican character on just the 3rd campaign mode, and it seems to be the computer has too much money and capital per turn. It sure "seems" like it must be cheating because on my fourth attempt at winning the level, the opposing candidate (Richardson) matched me HQ for HQ, but then started getting endorsements out of left

OK, been playing since early beta, and now that I have the clean and polished game, (and I'm understanding parts of it better), I'm now loving it! Great job Stardock! I'd like to know if there's any way to win in this game starting a custom character: starting with Low Stamina, or starting with Low Political Experience, or starting with Low Initial Funds. Thanks for looking into this.

Well here's my problem. I'm using a character that is custom-made and one has no experience, and one starts with little money. I cnan't win with either candidate vs. the in-game characters. I'm sure the problem is some basic strategy I'm doing wrong, just like in Gal Civ where I didn't know I needed to change initial spending % values. Could some of you please give me advice? Thanks!

I'd like to have a few more points to work with to make "myself" in the game. Also, there should be mouse-over pop-up help on everything in the game. I'd also lik eto see an option to make yourself an "independant". One that's middle-of-the-road on everything. That way I can go up against both Republicans and Democrats.
