Don't let my little rant fool you, Gal civ's governor system works better than any "micromanagement solution" ever...dare i mention the laughable MOO3 governors? My only problem is that the governor screen suffers from a slight UI problem, which im hoping the boys at stardock (all hail stardock!) might address. Btw, if this HAS been touched up in AP, please ignore my wailing and drop me off on the nearest Drengin penal colony :) Finally, i get to the point; I think about it eve

My end of game summary was well and truly distorted. Some examples listed below 1)The drengin, arceans and altarians all had "earth" listed in the end of game planet screen (cant remember which field exactly, mighta been most populous) 2)I had sent quite a few billion troops and ships into battle, lost some and killed more, but the soldier and ship information panels showed 0 troops lost and 0 ships destroyed, and i think 5 enemy ships destroyed. It was a chal
Profile scores "age" more quickly than meta scores - hence are generally lower than the meta score.Alex
Thats a slightly cryptic repsonse...ive got a similar problem tho; I tallied my individual metaverse scores (only 3 games so far so its quite easy:) ) and got 25386, yet my ranking shows me on roughly 14000 points. It's set to overall score on the search options, is there some other crafty mathematical operator at work here, or is the metaverse inaccur

not a bug, more of a suggestion/idea; I dont't know if any of u guys have played championship manager 4,but u can accumulate a lot of save games. The developers added a nice feature with a windows explorer type folder and sub folder menu. Just thought with all the save games one can have for gal civ, it might be nice to create a folder for each game u play to stick the save games in while playing gal civ, as opposed to scrolling a long list or leaving for the desktop to create fo

Please excuse my lack of knowledge on the finer points of Galciv, im still gettin to grips with it.... Is there a way to check what each AI player's intelligence level is during the game? I'm playing a Large galaxy and I can't for the life of me remember who's is intelligence is set to what. It's a small problem, I know, but it may help my strategy a bit. Thanks

Theres a problem where a civ's list of allies lists itself as one. e.g.The Altarian's had the Altarian republic as one of its allies. Just a small prob, doesnt exactly make the game unplayable ;)

There are a few typos in the techs....cant remember specifics here, maybe someone will go thru the entire tech tree. Also, i had a game where in the diplomacy screen (the one where u trade with civs) the list of the Altarian's friends and enemies listed themselves as one of their allies! (and no, there was no Altarian splinter world) A small blemish on an otherwise outstanding game

Well, after my failed Moo3 experience, the glowing GalCiv reviews, and most of all; the dedication of the developers, ive decided to buy GC no matter what cost. As you can tell, im from ireland and the game doesnt seem to be selling here. My question is; does the stardock purchase version contain the full packaged retail version of GC or will I be getting an infogrames style paper sleeve with a CD in the mail?? Cheers!
