Autosurvey is broken.
Aldar
I LIKE it!!!!!!!! LOL The addition of the other 2 races made me have to rethink my strategy.
v1.49N[rc].002 - Had a yellow star with no habitable planets.
...but they kind of look like puppets... LOL [Message Edited]
v1.49N[rc].002 - Just finished exploring the map - there are no minor races.
v1.49N[rc].002 - My Treaty of Attack list is empty.
v1.49N[rc].002 - Autosurvey is still ignoring some anomolies (or using a very strange algorithm to decide where to go next).
I don't think there is currently any way to create a star system during the game. The map is generated when you start based on your initial settings.
It helps them as long as they are in the sector
Mmmmmmm, Space Shark Stew, mmmmmmmmmmm, making me thirsty...
Ordered and downloaded it yesterday with no problems.
From the main screen, click on the ship/starbase you want to name. Its info will appear at the bottom of the screen. Click on the name and a popup appears where you can change the name. Rally points work well for marking the location of enemy (I mean alien) starbases.
Holiday nominations are closed.
I don't believe that is in the game.
Only one more day to make up a holiday to add to the list: aldar.galciv.org
The privilege of creating Aldarian holidays is normally reserved for Aldarians. This contest will allow a non-Aldarian the opportunity to add a holiday to the Aldarian calendar. Pick an open date on the Aldarian calendar (aldar.galciv.org), make up a holiday, and submit it via this thread. We will be accepting proposals until Saturday, 27MAR03. The Aldarian Senate will then select a new excuse to drink heavily and behave badly ... errrr ... holiday, and add it to the calendar.
One last thing, explore the possibilities for trading techs with the AI. Trades often allow you to leapfrog over parts of the tech tree (I can't remember the last time I actually researched Large Scale Building myself.
Someone has been busy...
It is definately worth updating to the latest version - lots of changes since 1.05. [Message Edited]
Try reading through this http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=72311 It is the best walk through I have seen. Welcome - say good-bye to your free time LOL
I think the influence resets after each UP vote.
Nope. Once the planet has been close to flipping, it is more suseptable to it in the future. The skull is there as a reminder that you have used your 'do over' chance. It's best to start dealing wit planets when they have the unhappy face.
Try playing a abudant galaxy and have system flipped to you with 2 planets, a class 15 and a class 23, each with 20 000 m people
Good point - I don't usually have a lot of planets flipping to me - I tend to invade my neighbors to make more room for 'my' people. :D
