I've wondered about this too; I'm on an AMD Duralon 1.2 Gig, with 512 RAM and a Radeon 9100. That seems above the minimum, but somewhat below the suggested, and I wonder how much of an issue that's going to be. It'd be good to know before I put my money down.

1.04 Bonus Pack Zip problems? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Anyone else having problems getting the latest bonus pack to unzip? I've tried it twice now on different days, and in both cases WinZip has had apparent CRC problems with it.

What build did the ship reload bug get fixed in? I'm only getting the major patch fixes, so I'm wondering if I'm still dealing with that here.

Resource base location on the map in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

One of the biggest pains in the tush I'm finding is locating a resource I've already found once. The current methods seem to be to activate the planet display and search for it that way, or to activate the ships display and search for it's star base if I or someone else has it under control. Both of these are an incredible pain if I've lost track of where it is. Is there any other method I'm missing?

I've had a few crashes myself that seem possibly connected with sound; it hasn't been so frequent that I've worried about it too much, but it did give me a little pause.

Did I misunderstand, or were we supposed to get a new full patch soon? I'm one of the people not using the Stardock program for various reasons.

Do you have to physically encounter them, or is your trader report enough? Maybe that's the problem I've been having; that I haven't technically met more than one yet.

Maybe I'm just slow, but I can't figure out how to communicate with any minor races but the default one the screen brings up. Is there a toggle I'm missing somewhere?

I wouldn't mind a printable one too, especially if it doesn't use a colored background. I can pull one up with a graphics reader of course, but toggling back and forth isn't the same as just being able to glance at it.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I didn't see any sign of it with a quick search. Anyone put together a listing of the technology tree for Galactic Civ anywhere? I don't see much point in fumbling in the dark for it.
