O.K. Please tell me how you can build 3-4 starbases per sector? I mean, that's an awful lot of constructors - are you building defensive modules (though they are useless against capital ships)? If you spend all those resources on constructors you're going to lag way behind on tech and social spending.

One use for battlecruisers is to wreck havoc amongst enemy freighters and constructors. Now, corvettes are useless especially since the tech is a dead-end.
Late in the game the displayed Turns left for researching a new tech is much more than what is actually required. On the turn after you start researching it, it will display the correct number of turns. This effect is consistent in all my games during the later stages.
On the other hand, destroying stars and all their planets is really easy.
..but you can't spy on them.
Yeah, I agree that the game isn't as much fun as say MOO2 but it's O.K. Another thing that's so samey are the planets where again you basically have bigger is better. In MOO2 not only did you have planets you couldn't use until you researched a specific tech but you had a race that could only use those planets - I thought that was way cool.
I don't have any planets under 15 and I had no starbases when this problem began. I only have 4 starbases now and that can't account for losing 150 a turn.
I've seen a couple of cases where a ship was invisible but that was with 1.02. In 1.03 I have a case where I cannot select any ship to build at one of my planets - it just doesn't stick.
Yes, same thing happening here - I was losing about 10 early on and now it's 100 as my Economy has ramped up. This is a new game started with 1.03.
A hidden cost has been introduced in 1.03. I adjust the sliders to make a small profit and I alway have less money next month - at this moment it's about 100 less money per month.
Yeah, I loaded a 1.02 game with 1.03 and the morale of every planet in the galaxy dropped massively. Is there a way to uninstall the patch - I'd like to finish the 1.02 game I'm playing.
Yep, it doesn't seem to work
