Yup confirmed on win 7 x64, 3GB. Radeon HD3200 (this is a laptop).

Hi, I just preordered couple of days ago and tried to install the new beta but the install won't go through due to some sort of complaint on XML. I found impulse-errorlog and pasted it here: http://pastebin.com/M1BHFzas OS is Windows 7 x64 (and only couple of days old install), tested account is non-administrator but install is on elevated permissions. My attempts to get forward with this results in redownloading the whole gigaby
Been around since Drengin.net and currently have also only single token left...
Hi, I don't know if this an old issue or not (I haven't been around for a while): When upgrading ships in fleet trough manage-dialog, you can upgrade one ship multiple times, i.e., you can pay several times. There is no information that a particular ship is already being updated.
Hmm... I don't see the update in Stardock Central. It should be up there?
Yeah I'm looking forward to other means too. I'm not sure if this can be done trough the governor screen somehow, can't test right now. If I remember correctly, also ships on orbit have to move out to be upgradeable... I really think there should be an upgrade button for ships regardless where they are, it's a pain in the ass to move those buggers around just to upgrade them. A keyboard shortcut should be nifty too.
Collector's Edition? Yippee! So if I have totalgaming.net subscription I will receive this? A physical box/DVD case with goodies?
Yeah, I know that higher resolution would help, that idea just came into my mind when cursing at my old 17" crt. Perhaps I have postponed buying of new monitor for enough time now
Now this happened to me with Tribal Trouble. Went down from 10 tokens to 7 and no game available...
A small UI enhancement idea... Would it be possible to implement a zoom feature for the technology tree in research screen? That would be helpful to get the "bigger picture" on whats going on.
I managed to build two starbases on top of each other on one resource. Has anyboby else succeeded in this? I have no idea how I did that, so I don't know if it's reproducable. Noticed this when I clicked on a starbase which I had upgraded a couple of times and info didn't show any extra modules. When examining this closer I saw that there is actually two starbases in one place. I have a save game showing this if needed.
You can click on the resource itself to see what type it is even if you have starbase built on it. This might require some zooming and/or rotation of the map.
I'm not completely sure if you got my suggestion right: I wasn't actually talking about the "basic" tooltips which explain the function of different buttons and user interface, but instead of "advanced" tooltips. These are dynamic in the sense that the description changes during the gameplay. For example tooltip for planet quality in the beginning of the game displays only the base quality but later on when pq has raised it shows for example: "Base planet q
Hello, One thing I like in Paradox's strategy games (Hearths of Iron 1/2, Europa Universalis 1/2, Victoria etc.) are excellent tooltips which pop up almost everywhere in the user interface. Some of these are just explaining the function of different buttons, but the most useful of these in my opinion are the tooltips for different resources. For example when hovering mouse over oil resource indicator, the tooltip tells the different factors which affect the
Unfortunately I don't have any links for you, just some tips. Of course you should read the manual first, lots of basic things are explained there. Secondly you might just want to start a new game and play. Many things become clear just by doing. As they say: This game is easy to learn but difficult to master. And if you have some specific questions just ask, there are many wise guys here.
This definitely looks nice. ` I'm not sure if I understand what the sentence "planets will be natively part of the sector" means? Could somebody try to clarify a little bit?
Yeah I got it installed just fine, posted just in the game section. I think that is a big step between beta 1 and 2, beta 2 seems to be a lot more polished and "complete".
Just finished a quick beta 2 game, observations: -Sounds didn't work in the first beta but now they are all fine! -Nice to see that most of the graphical bugs also seem to be gone -The are much more interviews, more questions could be nice for future releases, now I had to respond to the same questions every now and then -In overall gameplay seems to be much more intensive Couple of new bugs i found: -When going into options fro
The second point in my last message (small state not showing up zoomed) isn't apparently a bug but a feature: east coast small states show up zoomed when somebody has visited and built something in it. I just finished one game on simple an won Bush clearly I found out couple of new bugs: -
Maybe it's helpful to devs if we post observed bugs in one thread... After two incomplete games: Hardware related(?): -I too have sound problems. Just strange clipping and cracking. I have directx 9.0, soundcard is SoundMAX Intregrated Digital Audio integrated in my Asus p4p800 mainboard. I'm using winXP. Is dxdiag output useful to you? Game: -New Jersey state state doesn't show up (zoomed) in the map until my rival has
I noticed same thing. I strongly believe that nothing really changed, because download took only a couple of seconds and I don't see any changes. This sure was somekind of Stardock Centrals maintenance thing? ~SDC~
