I for one would love to see a multiplayer version of Galciv2 at some future date. I feel it would add a lot to the community as a whole bringing players in that normally wouldn't play. The online gamers community has become very huge. Now my fantasy personally would be to see a new Galciv made that was totally online. Moderators are doing a poor job on this site IMHO spamming a site just to make a large thread should never be tolerated. No idea why this goes on but enjoy yourselves. I created a home for the Hijackers and gave them a IRC channel to use because they are all cool ass peeps. Still any spamming of this type done at my site gets a big warning immediately.

No its people like Vulcan2 and others who attack someone trying to correct things wrong with the metaverse who are actually trying to help out with the issue. The metaverse is not working correctly at all in my eyes and many other long time players. Its almost exactly like it was with Galciv 1 and that was why I stopped playing that game and soon will stop playing Galciv2 due to the metaverse not rewarding justly for those players who take the time to max out certain aspects of the game. <

I lost interest in playing galciv1 due to the screwed up way they are doing the scoring. With Galciv2 its far worse IMHO you have so much more to do with the sequel taking a lot more time to play the game. If you play small maps no biggie but the huge and gigantic how I play takes around 1 week to complete and I end up with around 12-20,000 for my efforts. I play on normal and I hear its not much better then any higher levels. Why would I want to play for the metaverse with how it is

NeoTech Gaming Community reborn! in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

NTG has been preparing for a software switch for a very long time now. We are now ready to relaunch the new site using Invision Powered software. Contrary to a silly rumor all 400 of our downloads are intact. :D A small problem during the port of the downloads will require everyone who is downloading old files (before galciv2) will need to RIGHT CLICK - SAVE TARGET AS, and put in a filename to save it under otherwise it will be saved as numbers only. This will be fixed very soon.

Good yes, but due to the scoring being exactly the same as GC1 I am kind of bored now. I had a goal to reach 100,000 pt game and now it will never happen. I know 60,000 is never gonna happen and I am tired of scores only 15-20,000 pts. SD sure ruined it
