Metaverse issues in Metaverse GalCiv2 Forums

Am I going bonkers or am I being told correctly? Must you start a game using the metaverse login within the game in order to submit? If this is true why did you guys make it work totally different then GC1? I played my game for almost 5 days too finally submit my first game. The game ends and I return to the menu. I logged myself into metaverse within the game and on the site. Please

Welcome jmgarth!! (You look a little older in your avatar then I remember?) The guy who made the Trek Mod is off to aeronatics school (spelling), he did want to make a new one but no idea what his plans are. Have not heard from him in long time. www.neotechgaming.com is where the Mod will be made if and when it does. I have already made plans with Icho Tolot to help with his Mod so I am not going to be able to attempt it myself.

Nightyboy42 seems like you are a space empires player as that game has all of those images in it. Really I don't see the need for these things in the game as its an incredible entertaining as is and all these would be is for eye candy. Distances in space are vast and so are stars. Nice post well written. However I am inclined to disagree with you totally. Both games are like apples and oranges. Comparing them is not a good way too promote SE series here. One game is simplistic very easy too dive into without any huge learning curves. (GC series) The other is super complex with a huge learning curve and has quite a few different ways to play it. Vhaerun, there is an option after you run the game for the first time. Called "enable mods". This has to be on in order to use any mods. There is a folder called "Mods" you can use to install your choice of Mods into rather then the main directory. This way you can choose if you want to play a normal game or use the Mod. My concerns were with how the game progresses including how the colony ships are from the start moving one space at time. Unless it was intentionally to get the player to create their own colony ship that moves more then one space at a time? Now, I am a reformed Galciv addict!! (Played it since release time to move on LOL) With that said, has anyone else noticed how slow the game plays? Meaning the game starts out with a colony ship that moves 1 space at a time. I understand you can design a new colony ship but at the start you should get more then one move I feel.
