I started this thread because the original one is real long and maybe the most recent issues with the Metaverse can be focused on better. WOW! Not many people are on board with this project. It is a shame MadMaz did an outstanding job on it. There are little quirks with the metaverse. I could not get my score to show up until I created an Empire. Not sure if that is what you need to do but my scores never showed until I did. You can always join up with the modders community, CDG Creations League Empire, last I checked we were in the 16th Ranking spot. I generally use 10-20% influence when picking my abilities. I think this is important for a little edge it gives you. :) I feel that culture wins are way to easy. All you need to do is build 100's of SB in the race territory you want to absorb. Quite simple actually one of the easiest ways to win galciv IMHO. I play on Gigantic maps now, and culture wins are not as easy. I normally go for the tech win seems to give the best scores.
Excellent support for Galciv, but a lack of support for the Metaverse. Everyone seems to be ignored and not be helped at all. What is going on with things there? I sure would love to see all of these done. No one seems to be talking about Deep Space Nine? I loved that show and the array of races and the story would fit into galciv quite nicely. Galciv Writer was made by HawaiiFive-O. He is the Lead Administrator of the galciv forums at my website. He has his own set of forums at CDG. He wrote the program from scratch it is not the one you suggest it is. Mods in general can be made with notepad alone. Galciv writer takes the guess work out of making them. I have a new P4 2.53 Gig CPU 512 RAM, Ge-Force4 T1 4200 video card. The only slowness I experience is with gigantic maps only. That is only when loading my game really, I notice nothing else at all. There is a slight delay toward the later parts of the game when the entire galaxy is uncovered. All other Galaxy Maps run fine for me! Code Monkey and Yellow Sign have covered everything that I was going to say. I did have 2 CTD that I could not recreate it reloaded fine. My one complaint with the game, is when you are dealing with each colony during each turn phase. If you do not keep hitting next, maybe look at something quick to decide on that colonies production, or a trade good/wonder was built by a another race, the game does not indicate your colony has no social activity. I am still getting these same errors after reinstalling with 1.05 plus a new one no. Right after reinstall CTD. I Rebooted and it now loads fine. Better than all the suggestions is to switch over to PHPBB software forums. Much more flexible with tons more options. No offense but these forums are SUPER LIMITED. :)

CDG has offered you guys forum space already. We offer you the space because that is what we are all about. We started our website for this reason and we will keep doing so. Forums can be open or private it is up to the Group. The main thing is you could have your own forums, with file area, even different forums for different topics whatever you wanted we would be happy to setup for any Empire that wants one. I feel that PHPBB forum software is far superior too this forum structure.
