I'm finding gig maso a lot easier. Its the minor civs getting all those early planets. tip from the FOTR thread Alexians and Scotties trade for cash helps early on.. I managed to finish my last game just on 2200(and I dont mean 10pm.. i did get a fundamentalist event that wiped out 2 civs and decimated the rest so that helped a bit and a draginol event that coined me 150,000 bc so i could buy all the wonders.. also culture flipped the Torians who had a planet PQ50 and so was ex

First of all you need to set a waypoint on the galactic map there is an icon near the top of teh screen somewhere I think.. You can set as many as you wish. Then on each planet screen when you can select which way point you want yourships to go to. You will get a list of those that you have set on the galactic map. I don't use them much I find them a bit fiddly

Reply to What is a Military Swap for? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

The military swap allows for you to change one clas of ship for another all in one go, rather than having to change it on each planet... Lets say you have a colony with 15 plantes all building Death Knights, then when you finish researching Dreadnoughts you can use the Military Swap to change from Death knights to Dreadnoughts and all 15 planets will then be building Dreadnoughts
