I see your point of view, and I do suppose your right. And fun is the most important part, it just depends on the persons idea of fun I suppose. When I play, I'm looking for a long drawn out fight. Deep in the trenches WW1 style. Doesn't really matter weather I win or lose. Or how long it takes. That is my idea of fun. :)

Geeks, meet girl.. Girl, meet geeks.. Blonde Wood Elf, meet snot-nosed Ogre.. Snot-nosed Ogre, meed Blonde Wood Elf.. Which is worst? This thread or an Ogre doing their jiggle dance trying to impress the Blonde Wood Elf trying to kite and hold in laughter at the same time? :notsure:

1-sector is too easy if ya ask me. We need something that people might fail at a couple times. But if it were gigantic, that might work, but only Large or bigger. I would rather see a Gigantic, on Maso, only Military conquest. Without using any Cultural short cuts by taking planets. Granted you might eventually get a couple without tryng but other then that, military conquest. I hate hearing about all these short cuts to winning. Does no one else like to just beat the living shit out of a Civ

I did hear about a way to tweak the top and bottom numbers of the randomness for each size, but I can't be for sure about that or even how to do it. Other then that there is no other way that I know about.

I myself only play with Alliance as the 2nd game winner, with Conquest of course. And from what I have seen, it depends more on the morality of the people you are tyring to Ally with. I've Allied and won with the Altarians when I had nothing more then a couple ships defending my 1 system. If you supply your allies with Techs and/or resources they will have a reason to keep you around. I also close down any of my trade routes not going to my allies, making their economy depend on me being alive.

I'm not sure weather they upped Luck in the last patch or you were just really lucky. All I know is I no longer play with Luck because it's too easy. Nothing worse then having half a dozen Rangers before anyone else has Battleaxes. Either way, I would like to get some facts on this..

I was just looking down metaverse and saw this guy SpaceHacker.. 1 Game and a score of 7444, which is not entirely surprising. It's the fact the info says Easy, Huge, Cultural victory. Just wondering if it's a typo or if the name explains the score. Alakh R. Dowd

Yes, interesting.. But that is a topic too big for a messege board, anyways, we have games to play and as long as she doesn't get in my way gaming, I am happy. Save this topic for when the power goes out, or when your standing in line at the pearly gates..

But then again she is the reason why you taske the house too. So I guess, take the bad with the good and try and keep the Goddess in good moods and you will live a joyful life. Piss her off and your life will be a living hell. Alakh R. Dowd 'The humble man respects the great but does not fear him, the great has precedence over the lowly but does not despise him.'

I see your problems, it's a Goddess, not a God. This is something I myself see a woman having her hand in. A male God is the reason he stubbed your toe in the morning, it's a Goddess you can blame for losing all your money in Vegas. Alakh R. A question to all you more hardcore Galactic Civilization gamers.. Gigantic, only victory condition being that of utterly wiping out your enemies? None of that Culture, Alliance, or Tech crap. Has anyone out here done this, and if so I would love to hear details. I get sick and tired of playing a game start to finish in a couple hours. I want something that will seem to go on forever. Will this do the trick? Thanks Alakh R. Dowd

Never to move again? Even so, by the time I were to have a single ship equal to one of theirs they would have amassed a fleet insane in size, frozen all around me just boxing me in. Not to mention their influence was on the brink of ripping me apart anyways. Just wrong, just wrong.. Alakh R.
