I've built nearly 200 TS's on a gigantic map, and never used them :notsure: . They can be effective culture bombers to get planets to defect to your empire. As a good sneaky tactic, build all the constructors you need, move them next to your enemie's star systems, (make sure you have enough $) and build all of your TS's in one turn and eliminate their planets :) . Welcome to the fourm, hope you enjoy the game! ~SDC~

Soil Enhancement, Habitat Improvement, and Terraforming should considerably help in bringing up your PQ. Also, if you get a event when you colonize, and there's a option to improve planet quality...go for it. That is, if you're not the evil type ;) . ~SDC~

Hmmm, I would try uninstalling the game, updating your DirectX 9.0 to 9.0a, then update your video and sound drivers (also goto the manufacturer's website for updates). I would also go to http://www.windowsupdate.com and update your OS. Keep us posted on what goes on...you also may want to try posting on the 'Bug Report Thread'. ~SDC~

The metaverse confirmed my win to be alliance. To me the only problem is that the alliance victory is displaying the wrong text at the end of the game. :( ~SDC~

This allows the game to load itself while you are viewing the intro movies and choosing game options. There is an experimental feature in

You launch them the same way as you do with your colony ships. If you have v1.03A.057 then you should see a 'auto-launch' option towards the bottom of the screen when you click on your planet (it's that screen with your social and military projects being built). ~SDC~
