Hi I also newly have invested in a 4k screen (size 32). The game looks fantastic in 4k. Some thoughts regarding the UI in 4K: 1) I personally like to have the UI in 100% (except the mouse, see point 2). The UI becomes either unclear (not pixel perfect) or too big (fills up too much of the screen) if you turn it up in scale over 100%. The problem with the UI in 100% scale is that it is placed on the left side of the screen. It should be possible to put the UI in the cen
Yeah. This looks awesome! Fantastic that the game is kept alive with updates and dlc etc. S.
Cool. Will try later today. S.
Thumbs up!
Looking forward to try it.
You can see ashes is GTX 1080 benchmarked here . About 10-12% better then R9 Fury X.
Beats the R9 Fury X with 10-12 % See the article here .
I tried cpletourneaus Axis vs Allies map a couple of times yesterday with a friend in a coop skirmish against two AIs. The map is very good. Only a few radioactive spots makes these spots very wanted. And the "island" in the middle is of course a natural "meeting" point. We didnt meet any resistanc

Played the game yesterday with two friends. That was really fun! We were playing us three vs two AI. We talked about the game after playing it and have some feedback that we really think is important. - Many times we were trying to tell each other where to go/attack or were to watch out etc. But its really hard (especially on a big asymetric map) to tell exactly were to look without having the possibility to place a marker on the screen. In a cooperative game like Ashes I think this i
Wow. I missed out the patches 0.91-0.93. Logged on with 0.94 yesterday evening and I am amazed! Its a new game. Really fun to see how the game shapes up. It is still possible to look under the fog of war but way better than before. The game is really smooth now. s.
Ha, sounds cool for sure, but that is not just Ashes in VR, what you describe is way beyond that. I can see games along those lines being created at some point; it would cost a fortune to be as flexible as you mention above though.
Shure it is a lot of work. I can nothing about game developing.
Yes I know... But lets dream for a minute. Think about it. Your are seated in a big "controll room" With multiple screens on the walls with different information like the overview chart, stats etc. In the centre of the war room (remember this is VR, you can turn your head around) there is this big battlefield screen: <img s
They are not icons. Icons can overlap and can generally look messy. The way suggest above is a much more muted approach. Anyway, no point in getting too heated over it.
You are both right, this solution is a more soft/muted aproach then overlapping icons. And I really ment when I said its a great idea. I still am afraid it is not a good enought work around for the devs though. For my own case
Quoting snierke, reply 9 My point though is that this colour-dot-suggestion does not adress the "icon-wars-problem". yes it does! they're not icons !
You are right in a " I have a rabbit on my nose. I can replace it
Quoting snierke, reply 5 But it stil could lead to icon-wars how? those aren't icons. plus please tell me how there isn't an "icon war" already going on in the army list on the left hand side. that thing's a mess!
If I recall t
Great idea. But it stil could lead to icon-wars (which I understood the devs were worried about).
Its 0900 (CET). I am at work! Can play in about 12 hours. snierke
1. Is it possible to put a mark/spot on the map that is visible for co-op players (ingame)? That would ease cooperation a lot. 2. Is it possible to play with full vision all map (like in the benchmark)? It should be an option. snierke
This is going to sound snarky but if selecting a unit and clicking on a skill to upgrade is too much micro, you should not be playing RTS. Ashes is probably the least micro intensive RTS ever created. That said I do completely agree with you that the health bar not updating properly on Dreadnoughts is incredibly frustrating and needs to be fixed before release. You need to be able to know when to pull your dreadnought out of battle with some
Hi all Some feedback on the upgrade possibilities of the dreadnoughts. There are two ways to upgrade the dreadnoughts now (beta 1). 1) By upgrading the overall attack, defence and radar level. This is done by investing quantas. This affects all units (not only dreadnoughts) 2) Specific Dreadnought upgrading. When doing combat the dreadnoughts are given some sort of veteran points that the player can turn in to different skills or health-restoring. This needs to
