You're welcome. I've play a few minutes with this morning build. I've a feeling the game is responding badly to my clicks. I have to repeat right clicks a couple of time before the blue line shows up. Unit selection seems a bit more sluggish. It was a bit like this in previous build but I think it's more noticeable in this one. That was the dx12 version. I go try the dx11

Thanks for the reply. But unfortunatly no,this image is hosted on the screencast service. I havn't figured out how to it with google drive.

Here's mine DX11 is slightly better. DX11. The graph is odd looking no blue line, some data seems to be missing on the green line. I've run it twice but same results. <img class="embeddedObject" src="http://content.screencast.com/users/Gatokatcha/folders/Default/media/f49a9e00-3ebd-40d6-968f-14
An army marching in column will stop when in contact with the ennemy keeping it's column formation the rear units won't participate at the battle.
Apologies are back. This morning install of nvidia 358.50 drivers looked fine but wasn't. It remained like that even after the clean install with the manually downloaded drivers. This new install seemed to be a fix but it broke as soon as I launched Ashes. So I blamed ashes. I did the install again, it things fix again and then break again at some point. I finally uninstalled all Nvidia software with Glary Utilities and could complete a good install. Even better the DX12 ve
I'm taking back the apology. My directx install was destroyed after I launched Ashes. I had to reinstall the drivers again. It's the dx12 version that can do that merely by trying to launch it. The dx11 version launch but weirdly; the splash screen flashed back a couple of times during the launch and then the games lags horribly.
I apologize Ashes didn't kill my pet. I suppose the install of the new nvidia drivers this morning with the geoforce experience software didn't went well. I have reinstalled the graphic drivers after a download fron the nvidia website and directx works again for other game. But the dx12 version of ashes still doesn't launch (worked only with 0.51) and the dx11 version which worked fine all along is unplayable slow now with 0.60.
Actually Ashes did kill my pet or at least my directx install. I'm out to try to restore it.
I have a Asus GL551JM with 8 gb of memory and a gtx 860m with 2gb of dedicated video memory. The processor is a quad core i7-4710HQ. All that fit the mimimun requirement. It's difficult to find where to begin but the way I'd formulate it is : they KNEW their public. they knew their public like one would his own kid. The kickstarter video is evidence enough of that. I am concerned that dx12 won't work on some laptop config. The game is nicely coming along. The critical mass victory should be set at a choosable level by the user at least on single player. The dx12 version is still troublesome but the dx11 seems quite stable. Also if the + and - on the numpad could be use as replacement for their keyboard equivalent.

I'm Bruno, retired. I'm quietly and happily stepping out of life. Games, internet and travels make it so easy. I was never so in the multiplayer probably because I'm too slow to be a competition to anyone. I've always loved the strategy games since the time of board game. The computerization of games brought the possibility to play at all times and the realization that the game is actually happening in the player's brain not on the table, the screen or even the
The latest driver 355.82 brings a huge improvement.
That have done it thanks Bogieman. I'm still confuse why it's intel graphic that shows up as my graphic adapter edit: What works also, right click the .exe and hand pick the graphic card to run the game. edit again: Doing both is the better I had a crash when I hit start game without running in administrator mode.
i got an answer from helpdesk. it turns out the intel hd graphic adapter is in the saddle. I'd try to unistall all nvidia programs and drivers and manually download the latest driver and done a clean install. i've also updated the intel driver from device manager. but it remains the system graphic adapter. Any idea how i can force back the graphic card back?
the system they had is that Builder units would only be selected if you held shift with the click drag selection.
Shift drag is already in use to add the military units in the box to the current selection. But sounds a good idea with an other key.
I went to the intel page mentioned in the troubleshooting post you mentioned and run the intel update utility. The install of the win 10 driver went well anyway I should have done this. But in the case it didn't fix the problem.
I've just done that but still not working here

DX11 version works ok but DX12 version crashes just before the intro movie (where the game logo is reconstructed) Most of the time it crashes to desktop or a few times it reboot the computer. I've tryed full screen and windowed mode. I've check the" skip movie" box in the option while in the DX11 version as the 2 versions seems to share the same settings. I've deleted the settings.ini file in mygames/ashesofsingularity. I've check the steam cache integr
