Hello there, i am not a power player at all. From time to time i give aots a try and now and then it gives me a big push to test harder. Last days i tried to play against ai on the 'normal' level, not beginners ai. And i must say, i dont have the remotest chance to win on most maps. On the other hand, on some other maps with more then one player i win easily. Is there i common way to win? The hardest time for me is within the first 30 minutes. If i survive this
Guys, thanx for your replies. Doing a clean install was a good suggestion. But it didnt help. Executing the exe directly was a good suggestion too. I did this before, resulting in an error with missing dlls. I reinstalled the vc++ redistributable but it didnt help either. But after your post, frogboy, i tried it again and now it worked. Maybe it was because i now installed the vc++ redist with admin rights . So thanx again. I got a running aos aga
there is not much i can share. starting aos seems to work in steam: ...looks like i cannot upload images...only urls are allowed? I'm using firefox. In steam it shows 'aos wird ausgeführt' means 'is starting' or 'is executed'. But no aos window is showing up. Then, 'wird ausgeführt' is removed. Thanx for any help. Btw: shadows of mordor still starts.
Hello all, After windows 10 update 1511 i dont get aos running at all. Trying to lauch program simply fails without a message. Its on both versions dx11 and 12. I reinstalled nvidia drivers. PC setup: windows 10 1511 i7 4770 16GB RAM NVIDIA 660 Card AOS did run two day ago. On Last day i made the windows update and now its broken. @ TheRealWarpstorm : did you visit the bugs-thread? It realy is not that easy to reproduce. But all of the users mentioned the problems seemed to pause the game and then got the problem. Maybe its pausing the game or saving it which leads to 'god mode'. And it looks like other conditions have to be fulfilled too. I'll look into it further trying to re

I discovered god mode after saving a game. This happened the first time for now. So here are the details: - DX12 version - 4 Players,drake map, single player - after saving the game, units i built spawns instantly (even the big ones) without the need of any material. Hello, how can i identify and find engineers idling? Searching the map is boring and very time consuming. Is there another way? regards
If the radioactive spots are partially in a hill or something else the extractor cant be build (as mentioned before by other users). Additionaly the engineer is kind of stuck then and one have to stop him by clicking the stop button.
I am really looking forward this next build. Lets see, what it gives us. For my dx12 is great because of the utilization of the cpu graphic unit in addition to the main graphics card. Keep on going, guys.
