I believe auctions can spawn resources that don't exist yet. This can be rather annoying when you think you have a monopoly on a resource and then an auction pops up for that resource when there should be no more of it on the map. I understand why this might be desirable to prevent monopolies, but it can be rather confusing. How exactly does that work?

I see posts indicating that people are on 0.6.x versions and see that I myself am not. I got game through early access, is there a way to get the latest version? Steam seems to only update to 0.5.7567.
