Is there anyway to get the Beta without SDC. I play at home with a 56k line (more like 16k) and I have Mac's at work. Obviously SDC doesnt work with Mac. jack

I create a paper map also. I also use gridded paper to chart the course of my trading blips (ships) until I know their path. It makes Trading base location easier. Wouldn't the ability to print maps be a real help... hmmm maybe tie it to an almost useless skill ;) ~SDC~

I would like to see a map overlay implemented. This would be a way to draw and notate the map with my stratagies , mark my important locations and then erase the data when I am finished with it. Even better would be the ability to tab thru the important locations I set. And speaking of tabs, I would like to see a way to flag specific starships and tab between them. This would simplify examining the territory being explored by scouts.
