Here's some possibilities for the end game 1) Have to build rockets with materials or buy a rocket (call it a smuggler) off the black market. 2) Game ends at a set time, winner is player with highest net worth. 3) Game ends when one player fulfills a contract for delivering a massive amount of resources to the colony. For example the first player to deliver 5000 or 10000 chemicals. 4) A combination of 2 and
The "free" games on Xbox live are OK. The Xbox one games have been pretty underwhelming, that being said Max the Curse of brotherhood, Limbo, and #idarb have all been enjoyable. On the 360 Dishonored, the Witcher 2, and Halo Reach have all been great "free" games. As far as game exclusives go, the last of us remastered was very tempting and if I had of been able to find a better deal would have picked up a ps4 this past holiday instead of a second Xbox 360. Whil
I too am a member of the glorious PC master race, but I have an Xbox one, and 2 360's (one I bought in 2009, and the other was a slim with a 500gb hd I picked up for cheap on black Friday). I am a happy Xbox one owner. I like the easy TV, streaming video, bluray integration it offers. It is also more stable and reliable than my 2014 pc. The games look good enough, though Alien Isolation seems to stutter on it occasionally, and I should have got it on PC. I would rath
I'm looking forward to it.
Maybe each launch should require the player to build a rocket/spacecraft out of materials, maybe like 50 aluminum, 20 carbon, 10 each electronics, chemicals, and glass along with fuel or you have to pay a shipping company a set amount determined by supply and demand.
Soren, if that's what's happening then that would solve most of my frustrations because I'll just take better care of the colony. Though a red Mars colony shuttered screen of death would be good.
I appreciate you answering me so quickly! If I could just see where the money is coming from it would make the game so much better for me. Some of the times I've been bought out I thought I was winning and I thought the AI company couldn't have enough cash to buy me, and then I get the pink screen of death.
I think after you buy out another company, all of the bought out buildings should be frozen for like 30-60 seconds, to represent the chaos of a merger. You could add a building, patent, or engineer to lessen this effect.
The campaign is killing me to the point of rage quitting. I am monitoring the company I am playing against. Last game, which is very typical of all of my games, they have like 1-3k in cash with 5-9k in debt. I have more resources than them, but can't afford to start buying their stock yet. Then my stock starts getting bought. 1 share, two share, then I'm completely bought out in one fell swoop, when it looks like they would need 20-30k to buy me, and they just don't seem to have i
I don't have a problem paying with there being two charges for data, one on the senders end and one on the receivers end. However, I don't think ISP should be allowed to charge a toll for senders to access receivers and basically there is three charges for the data - one for the sender, one for the receiver, and toll on the sender from the receivers ISP because the receiver doesn't have any other options of accessing the internet. So yeah if Netflix is setti
I wrote the last part of my above comnment very poorly. WHat I meant was this: Proponents of net neutrality say without it companies like Netflix will be able to buy higher bandwidth, leaving others in the slow lane. In fact the opposite is true. Netflix fears that without net neutrality they will be CHARGED higher rates for the amount of bandwidth they use. Now if your ISP has to update their infrastructur

I just don't understand most of the points of view in this thread. Currently we have a cartel of enormous companies that have proved they cannot self regulate. It is also nearly impossible for anyone except for another enormous company to come in and even attempt to compete against them. Even if somebody won this week's huge powerball jackpot and decided to take all of their winnings and open up an ISP, even with hundred of millions of dollars in they couldn't compete. To compete
How transparent are the companies that they are trying to regulate? Probably not nearly as transparent as the FCC. It's not like the FCC took a perfectly functioning market that stood as a paragon of capitalism and decided to mess it up, because that's what government does best. They decided to take on an oligopoly that doesn't like to compete with each other, that in general just try to squeeze their customers, because they can since very little real compet
Instead of Title II what I would like to see is local loop unbundling of all wired connections to the home - copper telephone wires, coax, and fiber, and then these assets combined into a single nonprofit corporation, where the shareholders were the people connected to the system. If Comcast, Time Warner, Suddenlink, Cox, (on the tv side) AT&T, Verizon, Frontier, CenturyLink, (on the phone side) and Google all compted with each other, y\I'm sure competitive forc

I started out playing as the commander and noticed the following -First time ever, I saw enemy units moving (archers) into the same square. At first I thought it might be a new feature, but then I remembered bug reports I've seen before about this. -My bear isn't showing up in the party select on the main page. -The bear's icon is a blank gray circle without a portrait. -It says the bear is one of the SK's lieutenants.

There's always crossfire glitches, shadow flickering, crashes, insane loading times. I'm sure mantle could be used right, but it's just not. I really wanted it to be awesome but ;(
Is there official word from Microsoft that Dx12 isn't not coming to windows 7?
I'm fine with creating a default way to deploy. Then when you have the battle options it could be like autoresolve, engage, deploy. That way if there was a specific threat you need to do something different with your units, you'd have the option, otherwise if would go with your generic deployment scheme.
I would like to see that. With two caveats. If the coalition was successful, and you get back down to under the threshold amounts by a certain percentage, then the coalition would tend to either dissolve or start stabbing each other in the back. Also, if you fell below the threshold, then your hangers-on would stab you in the back. However maybe this could be done through traits and modifiers in the diplomatic screen. -has 30% more researched tech points than an
Has anyone played this on a windows surface pro 3? Does Galciv3 support touch already?
This is probably outside of the scope of the game, but I would love to be able to design components. So maybe you have laser technology, but you could design a heavy laser with massive batteries that greatly slowed its firing time, but increased its damage. Easier to hit large targets and do massive damage, but harder to hit small/fast targets.
I like it too. HoI 3 with expansions has a system like this where you can make user defined theaters, and assign units to them, then give the AI orders, and they control your units while carrying out your orders.
Disney has done a great job with the Marvel movies in my opinion, but I think the new Star Trek movies are horrible Star Trek movies, and only decent action movies. So I'm kinda expecting the worst.
