I just wonder why other Strategy First titles are common in Europe. For example, Legion or Hearts of Iron can be found in every software shop.

Austrian player here... It´s very difficult to get the game here as well. I obtained my copy from a small software store that imported it from the US. There should be something done about an european publisher.
This happens to me as well, although I think I´m doing something wrong with the spending sliders in the midgame. But when I see that I´m going to be overtaken by an unfriendly alien race soon, I usually start a war as long as I am still superior. GxR
And I wondered why all alien races voted to place the zoo at one of my planets... ;)
Hmmm...and maybe the low quality planets will play a role in the future as well...
Farewell, Battlehammers! From this update on, you are useless with your 40 hitpoints. The Drengins will have a fine partytime on my planets. You will be remembered!
40 hitpoints for a Battlehammer would be a disappointment. Why not lower it to a value around 70?
Though I understand the imbalance of a 15% PQ boost, isn´t it possible to make this bonus only available for planets with a base PQ of, let´s say 12-16? Then that resource would make some sense in the game.
At the game start and without modifying PQ, I had a PQ 26 planet in my neighbour system. Throughout the game, the highest value I encountered was also 42, although this was caused by a random event.
The situation really deteriorated when I invaded three systems at the same time while leaving the planetary improvements intact. The monthly revenue in my empire suddenly dropped to -200 credits. Well, my people just have to live a bit more spartanic now...
I see...but those improvements all look so useful... ;)
Hello! In every game I play I use to be #1 in population and economy, but I´m always falling behind in production, although I´m developing my planets fast. When I look at the production map later in the game, all, even weaker aliens are far superior in production, while my worlds remain to be smaller dots. I´m always building all available improvements, but I just can´t keep the pace. Maybe I just have the wrong strategy... Any suggestions?
Freya: You´re right, I haven´t submitted any games to the metaverse yet. I will give it a try when I´m better with the game ;) What else can I say about the game I mentioned? I played as federalists(I think...), common habitable planets and didn´t change anything of the starting options. All alien races were set to normal intelligence. I started out in the lower left corner with no other stars in reach. When my ships had a better range, it was already too late, all habitable pla
My last game was completely different. My system was placed in a corner with absolutely no stars in the three adjacent sectors on a small map...and only one habitable planet in the Sol system...needless to say I was crushed soon enough by the Drengins...
Here in Austria it´s available for two weeks now, although the big electronic stores don´t seem to sell it. I got my copy from one of the smaller software shops...it was almost sold out... :)
Thank you. But I when I send a new freighter to the alien route destination, GalCiv tells me that I´ve already reached the maximum trade routes. So do I have to kill the old route of my destroyed freighter and then move the new freighter into the alien system to establish the old route again?
Hello! First, I didn´t read through all posts here, so please forgive me if the problem has been mentioned before. When I spend money on espionage and destabilization on a minor race the following happens after processing the next turn: In the minor races menu the symbol of the minor race is now replaced by the face of the last major alien race I was in contact with. And for this race the same amount of espionage/destabilization credits is now located. Oh, I´m playing
Hello! 1. When a trade route has been established, can I send more than one freighter to a certain destination and multiply my trade income? 2. If a freighter has been destroyed, is it okay to move another freighter that has been built in another system to the origin of the trade route in order to get it going again?
