I had similiar difficulties with the ship icons not being visible. Reloading the game cleared it up, I don't know why. Playing version 1.02.

Just wanted to put my $0.02 in. I bought GalCiv after visiting this website and seeing what the developer (Frogboy et al.) had done and more importantly their attitude towards customers. I got it and started playing 1.00 from the get go. There were a few tiny bugs but nothing unplayable IMHO. Now I am at version 1.02. The gripes I have are due more to the support structure than GalCiv itself, and can be summerized: 1) Too many different support venus/websites/etc. I can't recall

I second (or third) the motion that the war party is a very good choice. All parties tend to have some great features but in terms of absolute survival, War Party is best. Consider the other side of the coin. I was playing my first game on 'Normal' level (won't claim to be an expert!) and a large galaxy. Immediately I got screwed, start position way in upper left corner, approx ten good planets within 4 sectors, and the rest of the good planets in a clump near the middle. Sure enough, the A

Hi I am having a similar problem. I can't find my metaverse scores either. I keep trying to register the game and it says I have successfully registered it. I also have registered for the web site. Why is this so complicated? Argh! My handle is supposed to be gibbie99. Rob
