LOVE the beta. (Sorry to all those that can't yet get in.) There are some bugs and crashes, but much fewer than I was expecting. I got through about 90% of the Terran technology tree before I crashed. Some nice changes. I like the new graphics. Terror stars don't seem to work, or at the least, I can't seem to figure out how to build them. I got though 100% of the Drengin tech tree. (Though Ion Beams - Doom Ray aren't connected to anything and can't be researched.)

While we are mentioning bugs we want fixed, I like playing at 1280 x 1024. At any resolution other than the default, the map in the "Civilization Manager - Governors - Starport Construction" doesn't work. Usually you can click on the type of ship being build at one of your worlds, and it will show on the map which planets are building it. The map just stays grey at higher resolutions.

It's completely different from planets, where an enemy has to take out all my ships to take out the planet. So, I would think that a Hanger mod would, when built, cause a starbase to act like a planet. You can station a ce

That... was strangely worded, but an interesting idea. The idea of a sea going ramming ship was to damage or cripple an enemy vessel, while doing little damage to your own. They would have a reinforced bow. With all the internal dampers and force fields available within GC, it might not be feasible. However, I can see small, cheap, unarmed suicide bombing ships being integrated into fleets. They could charge enemy ships or spacestations, and when they get close enoug
